ACDelco Cabin Air Filter CF185 — GM Original Equipment replacement, multi-layer filtration

ACDelco CF185 Cabin Air Filter is the GM Original Equipment replacement designed to trap airborne particles before they enter your vehicle’s HVAC system.

Engineered and validated by General Motors, the ACDelco GM Original Equipment CF185 matches factory specifications for fit and performance in compatible Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac models. This cabin air filter uses layered, non-woven media to capture dust, pollen, and larger particulates while maintaining airflow for heating and air conditioning systems. It replaces the factory-installed filter with a part designed, tested, and updated to GM’s standards, offering a direct-fit service component for routine maintenance.

How does the CF185 improve in-cabin air quality?

The CF185’s multi-layer media creates separated filtration zones that trap particles across different sizes without overly restricting airflow. That balanced design helps reduce the amount of dust and debris that reach the ventilation system and interior surfaces.

• Multi-layer construction captures a range of particle sizes
• Long non-woven fibers increase particle contact and capture
• Engineered to preserve HVAC airflow and reduce strain

Will this part fit my GM vehicle and match original specifications?

Yes — ACDelco GM Original Equipment parts like the CF185 are designed and validated by GM engineers to meet official production and service-part dimensions. It’s intended as the GM-recommended replacement for the factory cabin filter in compatible vehicles, ensuring proper fit, form, and function.

• Manufactured to GM OE specifications for direct-fit replacement
• Validated by GM engineering for compatibility with eligible models
• Updates incorporate current materials and design improvements

How long does the CF185 last and when should it be replaced?

Service intervals vary by driving conditions, climate, and air quality, so follow your vehicle’s maintenance schedule or inspect the filter during routine service. Replace the CF185 when it appears dirty, restricts airflow, or per GM’s recommended interval for your model to maintain ventilation performance.

• Inspect during regular maintenance or at specified GM intervals
• Replace sooner in dusty, smoky, or heavy-pollen environments
• Helps preserve HVAC efficiency and interior air circulation

What benefits does choosing a GM Original Equipment filter provide?

Selecting a GM Original Equipment part like the ACDelco CF185 ensures the replacement component reflects the same engineering intent as the original factory part. That alignment reduces fitment issues and supports the vehicle’s designed ventilation performance and durability.

• Backed and validated by General Motors for quality assurance
• Designed to integrate with the vehicle’s original HVAC system
• Manufactured and updated according to GM production standards
