Americanflat 22x28 Poster Frame matted to 18x24 — Black engineered wood with plexiglass, 1.1" molding, ready-to-hang

Americanflat's 22x28 poster frame with an included mat transforms posters or photos into clean, gallery-ready displays that hang vertically or horizontally.

This black, woodgrain-inspired frame blends durable engineered wood construction with a polished plexiglass face to protect and present 22x28 prints or an 18x24 matted opening (actual mat: 17.5x23.5"). Its 1.1" medium-wide molding offers a modern, understated border that complements bedrooms, offices, living rooms, and gallery walls. The frame ships ready to hang with hardware and features easy-turn fasteners for quick picture swaps, so refreshing your walls takes minutes rather than an afternoon.

How does this frame protect my poster or photo?

The frame uses a clear plexiglass front and a sturdy backboard to guard against dust, scratches, and everyday wear while keeping artwork flat. Engineered wood construction resists warping and maintains a consistent finish over time.

• Plexiglass front: lightweight, shatter-resistant clarity.
• Sturdy backboard: supports prints and prevents bending.
• Engineered wood frame: stable, warp-resistant structure.
• Turn-button fasteners: secure closure for safe transport and display.

Will it fit my 22x28 poster or smaller matted prints?

The frame is sized to hold an unmatted 22x28 print or a matted 18x24 display using the included mat. The mat aperture measures 17.5 x 23.5", which centers and highlights smaller artwork without extra trimming.

• Unmatted: fits standard 22x28 posters edge-to-edge.
• Matted: included mat creates an 18x24 opening for smaller prints.
• Mat backing: removable for custom sizing or framing choices.
• Edge detail: 1.1" molding frames art with a balanced border width.

How easy is installation and swapping artwork?

Installation is straightforward: the frame arrives with hanging hardware for both portrait and landscape orientations, and turn-button fasteners on the back let you change the image in seconds. This makes rotating seasonal art or updating gallery walls a hassle-free task.

• Included hanging hardware: ready for vertical or horizontal mounting.
• Turn-button access: opens the back without tools in most cases.
• Lightweight plexiglass front: easier to handle than glass for quick swaps.
• Secure backing: keeps prints flat and positioned correctly.

What style and rooms suit this black woodgrain-inspired frame?

The sleek black finish and medium molding make the frame versatile enough for modern, minimalist, industrial, and transitional interiors. It pairs well with black-and-white photography, colorful posters, certificates, and mixed-media prints.

• Modern living rooms: crisp lines complement contemporary furniture.
• Home offices: professional presentation for diplomas or prints.
• Bedrooms and halls: cohesive look when combined in groups.
• Gallery walls: consistent frame width creates a unified display.
