Amico Bathroom Exhaust Fan 80 CFM — 1.0 Sones, No Attic Access, Compact Low-Profile

This compact ceiling exhaust fan is built to fit tight spaces while delivering effective moisture removal for bathrooms up to about 80 square feet. Designed for straightforward mounting between ceiling joists or directly to a joist, the unit includes a 4-inch duct connection and a low-profile grille to blend into modern ceilings. With a rated noise level of 1.0 sones, it balances airflow and quiet operation for routine bathroom use.

How does this fan improve bathroom air quality?

The Amico fan moves up to 80 cubic feet per minute, helping reduce lingering steam and surface dampness that can lead to odors and mildew. Continuous or intermittent use after showers lowers room humidity and shortens drying times for walls and fixtures.

• 80 CFM airflow for effective steam removal.
• Reduces humidity in bathrooms up to 80 sq ft.
• Helps prevent persistent dampness on surfaces.
• Compatible with standard 4-inch ducting for reliable venting.

Will it be noisy during use and where is it best installed?

Operating at 1.0 sones, this fan is engineered to be noticeably quieter than many older or higher-speed models, so it won't disrupt conversations or quiet time. The housing is compact (7.5 x 7.2 x 4 inches) to fit between joists and the grille sits subtle and low-profile on the ceiling.

• Rated 1.0 sones for low acoustic impact.
• Grille size 9.4 x 8.6 inches for a discreet finish.
• Compact housing fits standard ceiling cavities.
• Suitable for bedrooms-adjacent bathrooms where noise matters.

How easy is installation if I have no attic access?

This model is built for installations where attic entry is not available: mount it between ceiling joists using the included brackets or screw it directly to a joist. The 4-inch duct collar and clearly marked ceiling cutout size help simplify fitting and connection to existing vent runs.

• Includes mounting brackets for tool-assisted placement.
• Recommended ceiling cutout: 7.6 x 7.3 inches for accurate opening.
• 4-inch duct diameter for common vent systems.
• Housing measures 7.5 x 7.2 x 4 inches for tight spaces.

Is the fan safe and built to last?

The unit carries UL listing for electrical safety and uses quality components intended for consistent performance in residential bathrooms. Routine cleaning of the grille and occasional inspection of the ducting will help preserve airflow and extend service life.

• UL listed to meet electrical safety standards.
• Durable construction for steady long-term operation.
• Accessible grille for periodic cleaning and maintenance.
• Designed for standard 4-inch flexible or rigid ducts.
