Aootek Solar Motion Sensor Lights Outdoor – 120 LEDs, Black 4-Pack, PIR & IP65 Weatherproof

Aootek 4-pack solar motion sensor lights are compact, weatherproof outdoor LED fixtures with PIR detection that deliver bright, energy-saving illumination for steps, pathways, porches, and yards.

These Aootek sun-powered lights combine a high-efficiency monocrystalline solar panel, a sensitive PIR motion detector, and 120 white LEDs to light dark exterior areas automatically. They recharge by day and offer three lighting modes so you can prioritize brightness, constant low-level glow, or motion-activated bursts. Built for simple wall mounting and rated IP65, the set is meant to withstand rain, heat, and everyday outdoor exposure.

How bright are these lights and how wide do they illuminate?

The 120 LEDs and wide-angle design produce a strong white light suitable for steps, short walkways, and small patios. The fixture’s lens spreads illumination broadly so a single unit covers more area than a narrow-focus lamp.

• 120 high-efficiency LEDs for clear, daylight-like output.
• Wide-angle beam to enhance usable lighting area around the fixture.
• Suitable for short-range security lighting and path visibility.
• Compact profile (4.13 × 2.75 inches) fits most mounting locations.

What motion detection range and response does the PIR sensor provide?

The built-in PIR sensor detects moving heat sources up to about 26 feet away across a roughly 120° field of view, activating a high-brightness mode when triggered. After 15 seconds without movement the light returns to its low or off state depending on the chosen mode.

• Detection distance: up to ~26 feet (8 meters).
• Detection angle: approximately 120 degrees for wide coverage.
• Auto-timed high-brightness return to baseline after 15 seconds.
• Rechargeable lithium-ion battery stores solar energy for night operation.

Which lighting modes are available and when should I use each?

There are three selectable modes so you can match performance to your location and needs: motion-only for energy savings, permanent low-level for continuous ambient light, and smart brightness for a soft night glow that brightens on motion. Changing modes lets you balance visibility against battery life.

• Motion Sensor Mode: lights remain off until movement triggers 15 seconds of high brightness.
• Permanent On Mode: automatically runs at ~10% brightness through the night for about 8 hours.
• Smart Brightness Mode: low-level illumination all night, increasing when motion is detected.
• Switch modes based on security needs, battery preservation, and neighborhood light preferences.

How durable are the lights outdoors and how do I install them?

Aootek designed these fixtures to handle everyday outdoor conditions with an IP65 rating that protects against rain and splashes, plus materials that resist heat. Mounting is straightforward: pick a sunny spot, drill a hole, insert the included wall plug, and secure the light with the screw through the built-in mounting hole.

• IP65 waterproof and heatproof construction for year-round outdoor use.
• PET-laminated monocrystalline solar panel for improved conversion and durability.
• Simple wall-mounted installation with included anchors and screws.
• Best performance after 6–8 hours of direct sun charging and regular panel cleaning.

Who this is for: This 4-pack suits homeowners, renters, and small-property managers who want inexpensive, low-maintenance outdoor lighting for steps, gates, short walkways, porches, and garden accents. It’s ideal if you need motion-activated security light, a continuous low-level night glow, or a flexible option that installs without wiring and holds up to rain and heat.
