APEC WATER 3-Stage RO Replacement Filter Set 10" — Sediment + 2 Extruded Carbon Blocks, US Made

APEC Water's 3-stage replacement RO filter set is a USA-made trio of 10" high-capacity sediment and extruded carbon block cartridges designed to protect your under-sink reverse osmosis system and improve water taste and clarity.

These replacement cartridges are the APEC ULTIMATE Series standard-size set for under-counter reverse osmosis systems. Built with a durable polypropylene sediment stage and two extruded activated carbon block stages, the set extends membrane life, reduces common impurities that affect taste and odor, and lowers routine change-out frequency with longer-lasting components.

How do these filters protect my RO system?

The first-stage polypropylene sediment cartridge captures sand, rust, and particulate matter before water reaches the membrane, preventing premature fouling. The two downstream extruded carbon block stages remove chlorine and organic compounds that can degrade membrane performance. Together they reduce maintenance needs and help the RO membrane operate at intended efficiency.

• Stage 1: 10" high-capacity polypropylene depth sediment for superior dirt retention
• Stage 2: 10" extruded carbon block to remove chlorine and VOCs
• Stage 3: Second 10" extruded carbon block for finer adsorptive polishing
• Compatibility with standard 10" under-counter RO housings preserves system longevity

What performance improvements should I expect?

Expect improved taste, reduced chlorine odor, and clearer water after the carbon block stages, while the sediment stage minimizes visible particles and protects the RO membrane. Because the carbon blocks are extruded and uniform, they offer consistent adsorption and resist channeling that can occur with granular media.

• Enhanced chlorine, taste, and odor reduction from uniform extruded carbon
• Lower particulate load to the membrane for steadier flow rates
• Reduced chance of carbon fines or bypass compared with GAC filters
• Longer intervals between filter changes—designed to last over 12 months under typical conditions

Are these filters compatible with my system and easy to install?

The set is sized to fit all standard 10" under-counter reverse osmosis housings, including APEC models such as RO-45, RO-90, RO-PERM, and RO-PUMP. Installation follows the same straightforward cartridge-swap process used by most RO systems; replacement typically requires only standard household tools and a shutoff valve.

• Standard 10" length fits most under-sink RO housings
• Directly compatible with APEC RO-45, RO-90, RO-PERM, RO-PUMP
• Simple cartridge replacement—no special adapters needed
• Clear labeling for stage order reduces installation errors

How long will the filter set last and when should I change them?

These high-capacity cartridges are designed to provide over 12 months of service under typical household water conditions, but actual life depends on local water quality and usage. Monitor your system’s performance—noticeable pressure drop, altered taste, or increased TDS readings indicate it’s time to replace the set.

• Rated for long service life—engineered for fewer change-outs
• Change interval varies with water quality and household demand
• Replacing every 12 months is a practical guideline for most households
• Regular replacement helps maintain RO membrane lifespan and output

Who is this for: Homeowners and offices that use under-sink reverse osmosis systems and want a durable, USA-made replacement filter set to maintain water clarity and taste while protecting the RO membrane. It’s ideal for users of APEC RO models and any system that accepts standard 10" cartridges and seeks longer-lasting sediment and carbon protection without granular carbon-related drawbacks.
