Aqua LEISURE's Oceans7 child life jacket is a US Coast Guard–approved Type III personal flotation device designed to keep children roughly 33–55 pounds buoyant and comfortable with an adjustable, open-sided fit.

This Oceans7 life jacket by Aqua LEISURE combines tested USCG safety standards with an easy-to-fit open-side construction and durable materials for everyday boating and water play. The vest uses thick EPE flotation foam and three adjustable straps so caregivers can secure a snug fit quickly. Available in a pink/berry colorway, it’s intended for child-sized wearers and is labeled according to USCG weight guidelines.

How does this life jacket meet safety and regulatory expectations?

The vest is certified as a US Coast Guard–approved personal flotation device and labeled specifically for a child weight range. Approval means the product passed tests for buoyancy and durability required by USCG. Always check the label and performance instructions before use.

• USCG-approved Type III PFD designed for children
• Clearly labeled weight range (child size, approximately 33–55 lb)
• Constructed with thick EPE flotation foam for reliable buoyancy

What features make the Oceans7 jacket easy to fit and adjust?

The open-side design plus three adjustable straps allows fast, customizable fitting that accommodates growing kids and layers beneath the vest. Chest strap lengths are extended to broaden the fit range, while the open sides increase mobility for swimming and boating activities. Secure fastening prevents the vest from riding up when worn properly.

• Open-sided construction for flexible sizing and movement
• Three adjustable straps for a snug, customizable fit
• Lengthened chest straps to reach a wider size range

Is this jacket suitable for swimming and general boating activities?

Yes — the Oceans7 PFD is designed for universal recreational use, from lakeside swimming to family boating. The nylon shell offers durable wear, and the EPE foam maintains flotation without heavy bulk. That versatility makes it a practical option for camp trips, dock play, and day outings.

• Durable nylon outer shell resists everyday wear
• Thick EPE foam gives steady flotation with less weight
• Appropriate for general boating, swimming assistance, and water play

How should I choose the right size and check the fit?

Select the child-size PFD when your child’s weight falls within the labeled range (approximately 33–55 lb). After fastening all straps, confirm the vest does not ride above the child’s ears or chin; if it does, the next larger youth size may be needed. Regularly inspect straps and seams for wear and replace if damaged.

• Choose size by the child’s current weight, not clothing size
• Secure all three straps; vest should not rise above the ears
• Inspect for wear—replace if foam or seams are compromised

Who is this for: Families, camps, and caregivers seeking a USCG-approved, easy-to-adjust child life jacket will find the Aqua LEISURE Oceans7 a practical choice. It suits children in the labeled weight range who need dependable flotation for boating, swimming supervision, or recreational water activities. Remember to verify the child’s weight fits the label and to supervise all water use; this PFD assists flotation but does not replace active adult supervision.
