Arm & Hammer Large Sifting Litter Tray — Jumbo Lift-to-Sift Cat Litter Box with Microban for Easy Odour Control

A large, lift-to-sift litter tray from Arm & Hammer that separates clumps without a scoop and includes Microban protection to help reduce odors.

This roomy sifting litter box is engineered to simplify daily maintenance of indoor cat litter. Instead of bending to scoop, you lift the inner sifting tray and let clean litter fall through while clumps remain separated for easy disposal. Constructed in the USA using recycled materials and compatible with many litter types, it aims to combine convenience, odor control, and an eco-conscious build.

How does the sifting system make cleaning faster?

The sifting tray uses a raised-lift design so you can separate used clumps from fresh litter in one motion. No scooping is required — lift, shake gently, and lower the tray to retain clean litter. This reduces time spent on litter box maintenance and keeps fresh litter available for your cat.

• Patented lift-to-sift action eliminates frequent scooping
• Inner perforations sized to retain clumps while passing clean litter
• Large capacity minimizes how often you fully empty the box

Will it control odor and stay hygienic?

The tray is treated with built-in Microban protection designed to inhibit bacterial growth that contributes to smells on surfaces. Combined with regular removal of clumps, the Microban layer helps keep the surface fresher between cleanings. It’s not a substitute for routine washing but adds an extra barrier against odor-causing microbes.

• Microban-treated plastic reduces microbial buildup on contact surfaces
• Compatible with odor-controlling litters for added performance
• Easy-to-wipe interior supports regular sanitizing

Which litters work best in this jumbo tray?

The box accepts a wide range of litter types including clumping clay, pellets, pine, and crystal-style litters. For optimal sifting performance and smooth separation, Arm & Hammer recommends their SLIDE formula, though many users find the tray effective with other compatible granules. Adjust litter depth according to the litter type to ensure proper sifting action.

• Designed for clumping, pellet, pine and crystal litters
• Optimal results with Arm & Hammer SLIDE clumping litter
• Keep litter depth consistent — avoid overfilling the sifting layer

Is the size suitable for large or multiple cats?

The jumbo footprint and higher sides create a spacious, splash-resistant area that suits larger cats and reduces scatter. A common guideline is choosing a box about 1.5 times your cat’s length; this tray’s roomy interior meets that need for most adult cats. For multi-cat households, the larger capacity reduces the frequency of full cleanouts.

• High sides help contain litter and prevent tracking
• Large interior fits bigger breeds and gives cats comfortable room
• Less frequent full-empty cycles in multi-cat setups

Who is this for? This sifting litter box is aimed at cat owners who want to cut down daily maintenance time and improve odor management without sacrificing space for their pets. It’s ideal for households with large cats or multiple felines, owners who prefer lift-to-sift convenience over scooping, and shoppers seeking a product made from recycled materials in the USA. If you use clumping or pellet-style litters and want a durable, low-contact cleaning solution, this tray is a practical choice.
