AstroAI Digital Multimeter 2000-Count Tester — Blue, Backlit LCD & Dual-Fuse Safety

The AstroAI Digital Multimeter is a compact 2000-count tester that accurately measures AC/DC voltage, DC current, resistance, continuity and diode checks for home and automotive troubleshooting.

This handheld multimeter combines a clear backlit LCD, protective silicone sleeve and essential safety features so hobbyists, technicians and DIYers can diagnose electrical issues quickly. It offers straightforward rotary selection, data-hold and audible continuity, while a dual-fuse design and low-battery alert reduce the risk of damage and incorrect readings. The unit ships with test leads, battery and a user manual to get you started right away.

How accurate and fast are the readings?

The meter provides a 3½-digit display with a 1999-count range and updates at roughly two readings per second, giving dependable numeric results for everyday diagnostics. While not a lab-grade instrument, it’s well suited to household circuits, batteries and most automotive checks.

• 1999-count (3½ digit) backlit LCD for clear numbers and polarity indication
• Sampling rate: about two measurements per second for steady results
• Suitable ranges for AC/DC voltage, DC current and resistance tests

What safety features protect me and the tool?

A dual-fuse configuration offers protection against overloads, and the included silicone protective boot guards the case from impacts and helps insulate the user. The meter also warns when battery voltage is low to avoid unreliable readings, and the continuity buzzer reduces the need to stare at the screen in noisy or dim environments.

• Double-fuse protection to reduce risk of fuse burnout and damage
• Silicone cover for shock absorption and extra insulation
• Low-battery indication to prompt timely battery replacement

Which measurements and troubleshooting tasks can it handle?

This tool covers the essentials: AC and DC voltage checks, DC current readings, resistance, diode tests and continuity checks, making it a versatile choice for general electronics, home wiring and vehicle maintenance. Note that very small AC voltages under 100mV and some AC current ranges are outside its capability—consult the manual for limitations before measuring.

• AC/DC voltage, DC current and resistance ranges for routine diagnostics
• Diode test and audible continuity for quick circuit checks
• Ideal for outlets, batteries, fuses, automotive circuits and basic electronics

How easy is it to use and maintain?

Controls are centered on a clear rotary switch and the backlit display helps read values in dim areas. The meter includes data-hold to freeze readings and a continuity buzzer for hands-free checks. Keep test lead plugs fully inserted and set the dial correctly to avoid no-reading situations; always read the user manual before testing.

• LCD backlight and data-hold for easier reading and recording
• Test leads and battery included so the unit is ready to use out of the box
• Simple rotary selector minimizes the learning curve for new users

Who is this for: The AstroAI 2000-count multimeter is aimed at DIYers, home handypersons, students and automotive enthusiasts who need an affordable, reliable tool for routine electrical checks. If you require higher-precision laboratory measurements or specific high-current AC testing, consider a specialty instrument; for everyday household and automotive troubleshooting, this meter delivers a practical, feature-packed solution.
