Add AdaptiveSync, FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC compatibility and you get a tear-free, fluid experience across modern GPUs.

How does the VG27AQ3A improve frame-to-frame clarity during fast action?

The monitor combines a native 180Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms Fast IPS response to minimize motion blur and latency. When high frame rates are available, ELMB Sync can run with variable refresh so you get crisp frames without tearing or stutter.

• 180Hz native refresh for ultra-smooth animation and reduced input lag
• 1 ms Fast IPS response to limit ghosting on rapid movements
• ELMB Sync works alongside AdaptiveSync to retain clarity at varying FPS

Will colors and HDR look noticeably better than a standard monitor?

This model covers about 130% of the sRGB gamut and supports HDR-10, so colors are richer and highlights/darks have greater separation than basic displays. It’s tuned for gaming and media, providing more vivid hues without oversaturation.

• 130% sRGB for expanded color volume versus typical panels
• HDR-10 support enhances contrast in compatible content
• Fast IPS retains color accuracy even at wider viewing angles

Which adaptive sync and compatibility features does it include?

The VG27AQ3A includes AMD FreeSync Premium, VESA Adaptive-Sync and is G-SYNC Compatible, so it negotiates variable refresh rates with a wide range of GPUs to prevent tearing. These technologies activate VRR automatically when linked to compatible hardware.

• FreeSync Premium for low-framerate compensation and tear-free play
• G-SYNC Compatible certification for smooth NVIDIA GPU performance
• AdaptiveSync enabled by default for broad compatibility

What connections and extras come with the monitor out of the box?

The display includes modern video inputs and a handful of accessories so you can install and connect quickly. It also ships with a few practical items that support assembly and immediate use.
