Avalon Towels Cotton Shop Rags — Pack of 150 12x14 in Red, Highly Absorbent Reusable Cleaning Cloths

Avalon Towels Cotton Shop Rags are a pack of 150 reusable, highly absorbent 12x14-inch cotton cleaning cloths designed for heavy-duty wiping, spill cleanup, and general workshop or home use.

Built from 100% cotton, these red shop rags provide a dependable, low-cost alternative to disposable paper towels. Sized to be easy to handle but large enough for most jobs, the cloths are machine-washable and suitable for garages, auto shops, industrial settings, and household chores. Their soft yet durable weave soaks up liquids quickly while resisting excessive lint when cared for correctly.

How do these shop rags perform on oil, grease, and solvent cleanup?

The natural cotton fibers pull in and hold oils and solvents effectively, making them useful for mechanics and maintenance crews. They won’t disintegrate with light chemical exposure, but for strong solvents follow safety guidance from the chemical manufacturer.

• High absorbency for motor oil, lubricants, and coolant spills
• Durable weave withstands repeated scrubbing and wringing
• Red color masks stains and helps organize rag use by task

Can I launder these rags and how do I reduce lint and color transfer?

Yes — these rags are reusable and designed for repeated washing. To keep lint low and colors stable, launder them separately in cold water and avoid bleach or harsh detergents.

• Wash cold, separately from clothing to prevent color transfer
• Air-dry or tumble-dry on low to preserve fiber life
• Do not use bleach; use mild detergent for best longevity

What sizes and quantities come in the pack, and how does that save money?

The bundle contains 150 cloths, each approximately 12 by 14 inches, giving you a large on-hand supply for ongoing maintenance or production needs. That volume reduces reliance on disposable towels and lowers per-use cost in busy environments.

• 150-count bulk supply reduces frequent restocking
• 12x14-inch size balances reach and manageability for tasks
• Reusable design cuts expense compared with single-use paper

Are these rags suitable for delicate surfaces and household chores?

The cotton construction is gentle enough for many painted and polished finishes while still effective on tougher grime. For very delicate or highly finished surfaces, test on a small area first to confirm compatibility.

• Soft cotton minimizes scratching on paint and glass when clean
• Great for dusting, wiping counters, and general household spills
• Color coding helps reserve clean rags for delicate tasks
