Battery Tender 12V 750mA Charger & Maintainer for Motorcycles and ATVs — Automatic Multi-Stage Float Maintenance

The Battery Tender Junior 12V 750mA Charger and Maintainer is a compact, fully automatic charger that safely charges and maintains 12V lead-acid batteries for motorcycles, ATVs, and other powersports vehicles without overcharging.

Keep a seasonal or occasional-use vehicle ready with a small, reliable charger that moves through a multi-stage program to replenish and preserve battery capacity. Designed for 12V flooded, AGM, and gel cell batteries, the Junior model provides a steady 750mA output for topping off smaller batteries and then shifts to a float maintenance mode, preventing discharge during long storage periods. Its lightweight enclosure, long output cord, and included connection accessories make installation simple for hobbyists and mechanics alike.

How does the Battery Tender Junior protect my battery from damage?

The charger follows a controlled multi-step charging routine that brings batteries to full voltage then switches to a low-current float to keep them topped off. Automatic detection prevents continuous high-current charging and includes protections for reverse connection and sparks.

• Four-stage charging: initialization, bulk charge, absorption, and float maintenance
• Automatic transition to float keeps voltage safe for long-term storage
• Spark-proof and reverse hook-up detection for safer connections

Which vehicles and battery types can I use this with?

This unit is made for small to mid-size 12V batteries common in motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, jet skis, and lawn equipment. It works across standard wet/flooded, AGM, and gel lead-acid chemistries but is not intended for 12V lithium chemistries unless specified by the battery maker.

• Compatible with 12V lead-acid, flooded, AGM, and gel cell batteries
• Ideal for powersports vehicles, lawn gear, and seasonal equipment
• Not a dedicated charger for lithium batteries unless manufacturer allows

What accessories and features come with the charger for installation?

The package includes a long output cable and a fused ring terminal harness for hard-to-reach battery posts, plus alligator clip leads for temporary connections. The compact charger housing and 12-foot output lead let you position the unit conveniently while the vehicle is stored in a garage or shed.

• 12-foot output cord for flexible placement during charging
• Fused ring terminal harness for permanent or out-of-the-way battery connections
• Alligator clip accessory cable for quick hook-ups and troubleshooting

How do I monitor charging status and know when maintenance is active?

A two-color LED shows charge progression and alerts you if battery voltage falls under load. When the battery is fully charged the charger automatically reduces current and holds voltage in float mode; if the battery drains below a threshold, adaptive charging resumes to replenish it.

• Two-color status LED indicates charging stages and float condition
• Adaptive charging restores full output when battery voltage drops too low
• Automatic cycling removes the need for manual checks during storage

Who this is for: Choose the Battery Tender Junior 12V 750mA if you own a motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, personal watercraft, or small utility vehicle and need a compact, low-maintenance solution to keep the battery healthy during off-season storage or irregular use. It suits hobbyists, riders, and homeowners who want a safe, easy-to-install maintainer with simple status indicators and included hardware for both temporary and semi-permanent connections. Backed by a five-year warranty and lifetime customer support, it’s a convenient pick for anyone prioritizing battery lifespan and readiness without bulky equipment.
