BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Recovery Collar Large+ Blue — Donut Soft, Low-Profile Post-Surgery Comfort

BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative is a soft, donut-style recovery collar that protects wounds while letting your dog see, eat, and move comfortably.

After surgery or injury, many dogs struggle with rigid Elizabethan collars that restrict sight and mobility. The BENCMATE Inflatable Dog Cone Collar Alternative (Large+, Blue) provides a cushioned, inflatable barrier around the neck to discourage licking and biting without blocking peripheral vision. Made with a removable outer cover and a soft inner air chamber, this recovery collar emphasizes comfort, adjustability, and everyday usability.

How does this inflatable collar protect my dog without limiting vision?

The donut design creates a physical barrier around the neck so your dog cannot easily reach the surgical site, while leaving their forward and side vision unobstructed. The low-profile shape avoids the tunnel effect of traditional cones, reducing trips and bumps.

• Inflatable inner chamber forms a plump guard around the neck.
• Low, circular profile preserves peripheral sight and awareness.
• Soft outer fabric prevents rubbing and chafing against the skin.

What fabrics and cleaning options are available?

BENCMATE offers two outer-cover choices: a plush, soft-touch fabric for extra comfort and a stretchy, scratch-resistant knit for durability. The cover unzips so you can remove it for spot cleaning or machine wash, while the inner bladder can be deflated for thorough drying and compact storage.

• Plush fabric for gentle contact and warmth.
• Anti-stick, stretch knit resists claws and dirt.
• Removable zip cover and deflatable inner chamber for easy cleaning and storage.

How do I size and secure the Large+ collar correctly?

Measure your dog’s neck circumference before ordering to ensure a snug, comfortable fit; BENCMATE recommends using your pet’s regular collar in combination with the recovery collar if fit needs fine-tuning. The donut collar includes internal fixation straps and a Velcro closure at the opening for quick adjustment and to keep the collar from rotating or slipping off.

• Measure neck circumference for best size selection.
• Thread daily collar through internal strap for added security.
• Velcro closure allows simple, behind-the-neck tightening adjustments.

Will my dog still eat, sleep and drink easily while wearing it?

Yes — the BENCMATE donut collar is designed so dogs can access bowls, lie down comfortably, and rest their heads like a neck pillow. Because it doesn’t block the nose or mouth, most dogs adapt quickly and retain normal feeding and drinking routines.

• Open-front design keeps nose and mouth accessible.
• Soft, pillow-like support eases rest and reduces stress.
• Lightweight construction helps dogs move and play with less restriction.

Choose this collar if you need a protective, adjustable, and easy-to-clean solution that lets your pet maintain normal activities while reducing licking or biting of affected areas.
