BGment blackout curtains 63 inch 2-panel set — white face with black thermal lining, grommet-top, noise & light blocking

BGment White Blackout Curtains 63 Inch (2 panels) are grommet-top, double-layer thermal drapes designed to block light, reduce noise, and improve room temperature control.

These BGment curtains pair a white decorative face with a black blackout lining to deliver near-total light blockage and enhanced privacy while keeping a clean, modern look. Each package includes two panels, each 42 inches wide by 63 inches long, with six silver metal grommets that fit curtain rods up to 1.6 inches in diameter. Built for everyday living, they are machine-washable and engineered to help moderate indoor temperatures and suppress outside sound.

How do these curtains reduce sunlight and protect privacy?

The curtains use a dense black lining bonded to the white outer fabric that prevents most daylight and streetlight from penetrating the room. This creates a darker interior for sleeping, media rooms, or daytime naps without needing additional window coverings.

• 100% blackout backing for strong light blocking
• Thick double-layer construction limits light bleed at the fabric
• Full-height panels (63") cover most standard windows
• White face keeps the room bright when curtains are open

Will these curtains help with temperature control and energy costs?

Yes — the thermal insulated double layers slow heat transfer through windows so rooms stay cooler in summer and warmer in winter. That buffering effect can reduce how often your HVAC runs, supporting energy savings over time.

• Two-layer thermal fabric reduces heat gain and loss
• Heavyweight panels create a barrier at the glass and frame
• Suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, and home offices for better comfort
• Can complement weatherstripping for added efficiency

How effective are they at reducing noise and what rooms benefit most?

The thicker, double-layer construction absorbs more ambient noise than single-layer curtains, helping to soften street and neighbor sounds. They perform best for general noise dampening rather than full acoustic isolation.

• Heavier fabric absorbs and diffuses sound waves
• Useful near busy streets, apartments, or shared walls
• Helps create quieter bedrooms, nurseries, and media rooms
• Works alongside rugs and soft furnishings for better results

Are these curtains easy to hang and care for?

Installation is simple: slide the rod through six silver metal grommets per panel that accept rods up to 1.6" diameter. Care is straightforward — machine wash cold and tumble dry low or iron on low as needed to keep them fresh and wrinkle-free.

• Each panel: 42" wide x 63" long with 6 metal grommets
• Fits most standard curtain rods (under 1.6" diameter)
• Machine washable under 86°F; low-heat dry/iron; do not bleach
• Durable construction resists wrinkles and everyday wear
