The Blink Outdoor 4 Floodlight Camera combines a bright motion-triggered LED floodlight with a weather-resistant, battery-powered camera and a Sync Module Core, enabling remote monitoring, two-way audio, and fast motion alerts from the Blink app. It’s designed for quick installation on porches, driveways, and backyards without routing power cables, and integrates with Alexa for voice-activated control.

How bright is the floodlight and when does it turn on?

The unit delivers 700 lumens of LED light that activates when motion is detected, providing strong illumination for deterring intruders and improving nighttime video clarity. Light activation is managed through the Blink app so you can customize sensitivity, scheduling, and how long the light stays on after detection.

• 700 lumens of motion-triggered LED lighting
• App-controlled sensitivity and schedule settings
• Improves color and detail in low-light video

What video and audio features does it offer?

The camera streams 1080p HD video for crisp live view and records clips to the cloud or a local backup with compatible Sync Modules and storage devices. Night vision is supported for dark conditions, and two-way audio lets you listen and speak directly through the camera from the Blink app.

• 1080p HD live view and recording
• Infrared night vision for low-light monitoring
• Two-way audio for real-time communication

How long will the battery last and what’s included?

With two AA Energizer lithium batteries and the included Sync Module Core, Blink rates the camera for up to two years of operation under typical usage. The package also contains additional batteries for the floodlight, a mounting kit, power adapter, and a USB cable so you can get the system up and running quickly.

• Up to two years of battery life with included AA lithium cells
• Sync Module Core included for local network management

How does motion detection and smart alerts work?

Blink’s enhanced motion detection uses dual-zone sensors to notify your phone quickly when motion occurs, and optional AI-driven detection (with a subscription) can help distinguish people from general movement. You can fine-tune zones and sensitivity in the app to reduce false alarms from pets, cars, or foliage.

• Enhanced dual-zone motion detection for faster alerts
• Optional AI person detection with Blink Subscription Plan
• Adjustable motion zones and sensitivity in the app
