Bona Hardwood Floor Deep Cleaner Refill — 3.79 L PowerPlus, Oxygenating Residue-Free

Bona PowerPlus Hardwood Floor Deep Cleaner Refill is a 128 fl oz hydrogen-peroxide powered, residue-free solution designed to refill Bona spray mops and bottles for deep cleaning finished hardwood floors.

This ready-to-use refill supplies enough cleaner to top up cartridges or spray bottles and is formulated for deep soil removal without leaving residue. Its oxygenating action releases micro-bubbles that help break up heavy build-up while remaining pH-neutral and water-based to protect polyurethane-finished wood. The wide-handle, splashless pour design makes refills easier and cleaner, and the product meets U.S. EPA standards and carries Safer Choice certification.

How does this refill clean more effectively than a regular floor cleaner?

Bona PowerPlus uses hydrogen peroxide to create thousands of tiny oxygen bubbles that penetrate and lift stuck-on dirt. That bubbling action loosens grime that ordinary cleaners may only smear, enabling a deeper lift and quicker pickup with a mop or cloth.

• Oxygenated formula that penetrates and lifts heavy soil
• Advertised 3X the cleaning action vs. standard cleaners
• Micro-bubbles help separate debris from the floor surface
• Suitable for repeat use without abrading the finish

Will this refill leave any residue or damage my wood floor finish?

No—this formulation is designed to rinse free and dry quickly, leaving no sticky residue behind. It is pH-neutral and water-based, making it compatible with unwaxed, unoiled, polyurethane-finished hardwood surfaces when used as directed.

• Residue-free and fast-drying for an invisible finish
• pH-neutral to reduce risk of discoloration or finish damage
• Not formulated for waxed or oiled floors—use only on polyurethane finishes
• Safer Choice Certified and meets U.S. EPA product standards

How do I refill my Bona spray mop or bottle safely and without spills?

The 128 fl oz refill bottle includes splashless technology plus a molded handle and side grip to control the pour. These features reduce drips and make it easier to transfer liquid into Bona cartridges or standard spray bottles with minimal mess.

• Splashless spout design to minimize spills
• Molded wide handle and side grip for a steady pour
• Large volume reduces the frequency of refills for busy households
• Packaging may vary but always includes the same refill formula

Is this safe to use around pets and children, and what surfaces are appropriate?

The cleaner is water-based, pH-neutral, and Safer Choice Certified, indicating an emphasis on safer ingredient choices, but it should still be stored out of reach and used per label directions. Use on unwaxed, unoiled hardwood floors finished with polyurethane; avoid using it on unsealed, waxed, or oiled wood and on every surface without testing a small area first.

• Safer Choice Certified, reflecting safer ingredient selection
• Appropriate for polyurethane-finished hardwood floors
• Not for unsealed, waxed, or oiled wood surfaces
• Keep out of reach of children and pets when storing

Who is this for: homeowners, renters, and facility managers with polyurethane-finished hardwood floors who want a powerful, refillable cleaning option that tackles heavy build-up without leaving residue. It’s particularly useful if you already own Bona spray mops or refillable bottles and prefer a water-based, pH-neutral product with Safer Choice recognition for regular deep-cleaning maintenance.
