bonsaii 9-Sheet Crosscut Paper Shredder P-4 Security — Compact Home Shredder with Auto-Start & Jam Reverse

The Bonsaii 9-sheet crosscut shredder is a compact P-4 security machine that shreds up to nine letter-size sheets at once into small 5 x 18mm pieces for safer home document disposal.

Designed for personal or small household use, this Bonsaii shredder balances capacity and footprint: it fits easily beside a desk or in a home office while meeting P-4 crosscut standards for confidential paperwork. Intelligent controls simplify operation with auto start, manual reverse to clear jams, and built-in overheating protection. It also accepts staples, paper clips and one credit card at a time, making it a versatile everyday tool for clearing mail, bank statements, and sensitive forms.

How much paper can I shred at once and how fast is it?

This model handles up to nine standard (75 g/m²) letter-size sheets in a single pass, turning documents into small crosscut particles. Continuous runtime is 5 minutes before the unit requires a cool-down period, suitable for routine home shredding rather than heavy office loads.

• 9-sheet capacity per pass (letter-size paper)
• Crosscut particle size: approx. 5 x 18 mm (meets P-4)
• 5 minutes continuous run time, then 40 minutes cool-down
• Shredding speed appropriate for small daily tasks

What materials can the shredder handle besides paper?

In addition to paper, the shredder accepts staples and paper clips without removal and can shred one standard credit card at a time (not suitable for metal cards). These capabilities make it easy to dispose of a variety of household paperwork and small plastic items securely.

• Staples and paper clips accepted
• One credit card at a time (no metal cards)
• Avoid shredding thick cardboard or metal objects
• Useful for mail, receipts, and small plastic cards

How do I operate it and deal with paper jams or overheating?

Operation is straightforward: place paper into the feed and the auto-start engages. If a jam occurs, use the manual reverse to free stuck pages; the unit also includes an overheating protection feature that pauses shredding and requires a cool-down interval for safety and motor preservation.

• Auto start for hands-free shredding
• Manual reverse to clear jams quickly
• Overheat protection with 40-minute cool-down when triggered
• Easy-to-empty waste bin design for routine maintenance

What are the physical size and service details I should know?

The Bonsaii shredder measures 7.34 x 12.2 x 14.88 inches (W x L x H), fitting neatly into compact spaces. Each unit is quality-tested before shipping, so you may find a few test shreds in the bin on arrival, and Bonsaii provides customer support via Amazon for troubleshooting within 24 hours.

• Dimensions: 7.34 x 12.2 x 14.88 inches
• Quality-tested before shipment
• Customer service available through Amazon within 24 hours
• Designed for home and small-scale use, not continuous heavy-duty shredding

Who is this for: The Bonsaii 9-sheet crosscut shredder suits homeowners, telecommuters, and small household offices that need reliable confidential document disposal without a large machine. If you occasionally shred bank statements, medical forms, receipts and one credit card at a time, and you value compact size with P-4 security, this unit is a practical choice. For frequent, high-volume shredding, consider a commercial-grade model with longer continuous runtime.
