Bosch 30.5 m Laser Measure GLM100-23, Blue — Backlit Display & 1/16-inch Accuracy

The BOSCH GLM100-23 is a compact 100-foot laser distance measurer with a bright backlit graphic display, two-button controls, and easy rounding for fast, accurate measurements on job sites or DIY projects.

Designed for tradespeople and serious DIYers, the GLM100-23 combines long-range precision with a simplified user interface. Its enhanced graphic display makes numbers and icons easy to read in dim conditions, while the slim, rubber-overmolded housing protects the unit from bumps and everyday wear. The tool offers both real-time measuring and a dedicated rounding function to quickly produce usable results for layout, estimating, and cutting tasks.

How accurate and far can the GLM100-23 measure?

The GLM100-23 measures distances up to 100 feet with high repeatability and resolution suitable for most on-site work. It supports meters, feet, and inches, including fractional or decimal readouts, allowing you to match the format you use on plans or cutlists.

• Range up to 100 ft (30 m)
• Accuracy to within 1/16 inch at typical distances
• Displays meters, feet, inches, fractions, or decimals
• Class II laser 635 nm, <1 mW for safe, visible targeting

What makes the display and controls easier to use in low light?

The GLM100-23 uses a brighter graphic backlit display with enlarged numerals and intuitive icons so measurement results remain legible in poor lighting. The interface groups functions into two primary buttons plus a click wheel for navigation, keeping operation straightforward under pressure.

• High-contrast backlit graphic display for low-light readability
• Big-number mode for quick distance checks at a glance
• Two main buttons: measure and rounding, with recessed design for tactile feedback
• Click wheel for menu and setting adjustments

How does the rounding feature and real-time mode help workflow?

The dedicated rounding button converts precise measurements into practical increments — from 1/2 down to 1/32 inch — so you can transfer usable numbers directly to cuts or estimates without manual calculation. Real-time mode continuously updates distance readings, which is useful when aligning components or measuring while moving the device.

• Rounding options: 1/2" to 1/32" for quick, actionable results
• Real-time measurement provides live distance feedback for alignment tasks
• Reduces repeated measuring and minimizes conversion errors
• Standalone recessed measuring button reduces accidental presses

Is the GLM100-23 durable and easy to carry on the job?

The GLM100-23 is compact enough to slip into a pocket and features a full rubber overmold that protects key edges and corners. Its slimmer grip improves handling for prolonged use while the rugged exterior helps the tool survive typical jobsite knocks.

• Full rubber overmold housing for impact protection
• Slim grip profile for comfortable single-hand use
• Pocket-sized footprint for convenient carry and storage
• Thoughtful button layout built for tactile recognition when working hands-on

Who this is for: The BOSCH GLM100-23 suits framers, remodelers, estimators, and committed DIYers who need a reliable, easy-to-read laser measure for layout, quick takeoffs, and site checks.
