BRUT WORM FARMS Organic Worm Castings 2.27 kg – All-Natural Soil Amendment for Indoor & Outdoor Plants, Microbial Boost

Brut Organic Worm Castings 5 lb provides a concentrated, all-natural soil amendment that feeds microbes and roots to improve plant vigor both indoors and outdoors.

These premium worm castings from BRUT WORM FARMS are a concentrated source of organic matter and micro-nutrients produced through careful, indoor vermicomposting. Designed for gardeners who want a low-maintenance, chemical-free way to enrich potting mixes, container plants, raised beds and garden rows, the 5-pound bag is sized for season-long use around multiple plants or to refresh potting soil.

How do these castings support potted houseplants and container gardens?

Worm castings act as a gentle, slow-release amendment that improves soil texture, water retention and microbial activity—benefits that are especially helpful in the confined environment of a pot. They won’t burn sensitive roots and are safe to mix into or top-dress container media.

• Mix 10–20% by volume into potting soil for new plantings.
• Top-dress existing pots with a thin 1/4–1/2 inch layer every 4–8 weeks.
• Helps retain moisture and reduces the need for frequent fertilizing.

What’s the best way to use them in garden beds and raised planters?

In outdoor beds, these castings are ideal for improving planting holes, blending into seed-starting mixes, or incorporating before laying mulch. Their fine texture integrates easily with native soil and encourages beneficial soil life.

• Work into top 2–4 inches of soil when preparing beds.
• Add to transplant holes at a ratio of one part castings to three parts native soil.
• Use as a nutrient boost at transplanting or during early growth stages.

How do I apply BRUT WORM FARMS castings safely and effectively?

Application is straightforward—use sparingly as a concentrated amendment rather than a bulk soil replacement. Because these castings are fully composted and OMRI/CDFA listed, they’re safe to use without extra composting or curing steps.

• Apply dry as a top-dress, or mix with water to make a mild tea for foliar or root drench.
• Pair with regular watering; castings help maintain even moisture and root-friendly structure.
• Store in a cool, dry place; reseal the bag to keep product fresh.

Are these castings certified organic and sustainably produced?

Yes—BRUT WORM FARMS produces these castings indoors in controlled systems and lists the product with organic registries. That provenance helps growers who follow organic practices or prefer traceable, family-made inputs.

• OMRI and CDFA listed for organic use.
• Produced in containerized vermicomposting systems to limit contaminants.
• Family-run operation focused on consistent small-batch quality.
