Burst Expanding Dental Floss — Black Mint Eucalyptus 146 m, stain-absorbing, refillable eco case

BURST Expanding Dental Floss is a black, saliva-activated floss that swells to remove plaque and lift stains while offering a refillable, eco-minded case.

If you want a floss that’s easy to see, effective between tight contacts, and built to cut waste, this mint eucalyptus–scented 160-yard spool delivers. The woven black filament visibly captures debris, expands when wet to clean more surface area than a standard unwaxed string, and carries a xylitol coating to support oral freshness. Packaged in a lightweight, largely recycled plastic case that accepts replacement bobbins, it’s made without parabens, BPA, or PFAS and follows vegan and cruelty-free standards.

How does expanding floss work better than regular floss?

This floss swells on contact with saliva so a thin strand becomes thicker and plush, increasing contact with tooth surfaces and under the gumline. That extra surface area helps dislodge more plaque and trapped residue than non-expanding, unwaxed floss.

• Expands when wet to cover more tooth surface area
• Woven structure resists shredding for safer cleaning
• Improves removal in tight contacts and along gum margins

Will the black color and stain-absorbing feature help my smile?

The dark filament makes it easy to see what you remove, which many users find motivating and informative. The floss is designed with materials that attract and trap pigments from coffee, wine, and other staining agents, so you can remove more visible discoloration before it sets.

• Black floss highlights trapped debris for visible feedback
• Fiber composition helps lift surface stains from interproximal areas
• Xylitol coating aids in maintaining a clean-feeling mouth after flossing

Is the product safe and eco-conscious?

BURST formulates this floss to avoid several common additives: there are no parabens, BPA, or PFAS in the materials, and the product follows vegan and cruelty-free practices. The compact storage case is made from about 95% recycled plastic and is designed to be refilled, reducing single-use waste over time.

• Vegan and cruelty-free formulation with natural ingredients
• 95% recycled-plastic case that accepts replacement bobbins
• No parabens, BPA, or PFAS listed in the materials

How convenient is the packaging and scent for everyday use?

The lightweight, refillable case fits easily in a travel kit or bathroom drawer and dispenses a long 160-yard length so refills are infrequent. A mint eucalyptus flavor offers a fresh finish that many users prefer after flossing, and the woven structure helps prevent breakage during routine use.

• 160 yards per spool for long-lasting use between refills
• Mint eucalyptus flavor provides a refreshing aftertaste
• Durable woven filament resists shredding and snapping

Who is this for? If you’re looking for a floss that offers clear visual feedback, better surface contact in tight or hard-to-reach spaces, and a refillable, lower-waste case, this BURST Expanding Dental Floss suits daily users who care about stain reduction and sustainability. It’s a good choice for people who prefer a visible flossing result, travelers needing compact oral care, and anyone trying to reduce disposable plastic waste without sacrificing performance.
