Cafe Bustelo Espresso Ground Coffee — Dark Roast, 12×10 oz Bricks, Bold Full-Bodied Flavour

Café Bustelo Espresso Ground Coffee is a dark-roast, brick-style ground coffee crafted for bold, full-bodied espresso-style beverages and everyday brewing.

This 12-brick pack (10 oz each) of Café Bustelo delivers a consistent, robust coffee experience without the need for special grinders or machines. The bricks are densely packed to preserve aroma and make measuring and storing straightforward. Ground to a texture suited for stovetop espresso makers, drip machines, and milk-based drinks, it’s a versatile pantry staple for anyone who prefers an assertive, rich cup.

What makes Café Bustelo’s brick format practical for home use?

The compact brick shape is designed to be space-efficient and easy to portion. Each brick unwraps cleanly and stands up well to short-term storage in a pantry or coffee drawer, helping maintain flavor between uses. The format also reduces the need for scooping from a large canister, cutting down on mess.

• 10-ounce bricks are pre-portioned for predictable servings
• Dense packing slows exposure to air and preserves aroma
• Uniform brick shape stacks neatly in cabinets or drawers
• Easy to tear open and measure for drip, espresso makers, or French press

How does this dark roast perform with milk-based drinks like lattes or cappuccinos?

The bold, full-bodied profile of this dark roast stands up well when combined with milk and sweeteners, so the coffee’s flavor remains clear and present. The roast provides a strong base that complements steamed milk and foam without being overwhelmed.

• Robust flavor cuts through milk, preserving coffee notes
• Consistent grind and roast make predictable café-style results
• Works with automatic milk frothers, stovetop steamers, or handheld steam wands
• Good for cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, and flat whites

Can I use Café Bustelo Espresso Ground Coffee in different brewing methods?

Yes — the grind is versatile enough for several common preparation methods. While optimized for espresso-style extraction and stovetop makers, it also performs well in drip machines and can be adapted for stronger French press results by adjusting dose and steep time.

• Stovetop espresso makers: traditional, concentrated extraction
• Drip machines: strong, straightforward cup by increasing dose
• French press: achieves bold taste with coarser adjustment and longer steep
• Milk drinks: mixes cleanly for café-style beverages

How should I store the bricks to keep the coffee fresh?

To preserve the coffee’s aroma and flavor, keep unopened bricks in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat. After opening, reseal tightly or transfer to an airtight container and use within a few weeks for best flavor.

• Store unopened bricks in a pantry or cupboard
• After opening, use airtight jars or bags to limit air exposure
• Keep away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight
• Use opened bricks within 2–4 weeks for peak flavor
