Canon PowerShot ELPH 360 HS compact camera — Black, 20.2MP, 12x Optical Zoom & Wi-Fi

The Canon PowerShot ELPH 360 HS A Black is a slim, pocketable compact camera that pairs a 20.2MP CMOS sensor with 12x optical zoom and built‑in Wi‑Fi to capture sharp photos and Full HD video on the go.

Designed for travelers, family events, and everyday shooting, the ELPH 360 HS blends a sleek metal body with straightforward controls and smart photo tools. Its DIGIC 4+ image processor and Intelligent IS deliver cleaner images and steadier video than typical point‑and‑shoots, while the large 3.0‑inch LCD makes framing and reviewing shots simple. With NFC and Wi‑Fi, you can share moments to your smartphone quickly or use the phone as a remote control for group shots.

How does the 12x optical zoom improve everyday photos?

The 12x optical zoom lets you move from wide scenes to distant subjects without sacrificing image quality the way digital zoom does. Whether framing a landscape, cropping in on a performer, or shooting close‑ups of details, the optical zoom keeps your images crisp.

• Wide‑angle to telephoto reach for flexible composition
• Optical Image Stabilizer reduces blur at longer focal lengths
• Maintains resolution using true optical elements, not interpolation

Can I shoot steady photos and Full HD video in low light?

The 20.2MP CMOS sensor combined with the DIGIC 4+ processor improves light sensitivity and reduces noise, helping retain detail when lighting is less than ideal. The camera’s Intelligent IS compensates for handshake and motion, useful for slower shutter speeds and handheld 1080p movie recording.

• Improved noise handling from the CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4+
• Intelligent IS plus Optical Image Stabilizer for blur reduction
• Full HD 1080p movies with steady handheld performance

What smart sharing and creative features does it offer?

Built‑in Wi‑Fi and NFC make transferring images and videos to a smartphone fast so you can post or back up without a computer. Hybrid Auto captures short video clips just before each still photo, and Story Highlights stitches those clips and photos into a short recap to relive a day’s events.

• Wi‑Fi and NFC for one‑tap sharing and remote camera control
• Hybrid Auto records short pre‑photo clips for quick montages
• Story Highlights automatically combines footage and images into summaries

How simple is it to view and frame shots on the camera?

The PowerShot ELPH 360 HS features a bright 3.0‑inch LCD that provides clear framing and playback even from off angles. Menus and shooting modes are designed for straightforward operation, making this camera approachable for beginners while still offering enough control for enthusiasts.

• Large 3.0" LCD for comfortable live view and image review
• Intuitive menus and automatic scene selection for quick shooting
• Compact body that fits in a pocket or small bag for easy carry

Who is this for: The Canon PowerShot ELPH 360 HS A Black is ideal for travelers, families, and casual photographers who want better image quality than a smartphone provides without the bulk of an interchangeable‑lens camera. It’s a good fit for anyone seeking a fuss‑free compact with versatile zoom, smart sharing, and simple creative tools for daily life and short trips.
