Cesun 18.9 L Touchless Bathroom Bin — Black, Infrared Sensor & Tight-Sealing Lid

Cesun 5 Gallon Automatic Bathroom Trash Can is a compact, touch-free waste bin with infrared sensor, manual button, tight-sealing lid, and bag-fix ring for odor control and easy bathroom use.

This sleek black 5-gallon trash can was designed to fit tight spaces while providing the convenience of hands-free operation and the capacity to reduce emptying frequency. It combines infrared motion sensing, an optional manual open button, and a countdown light to help you manage disposals without touching the lid. Built with an inner bag-fix ring and IPX5 splash resistance, it keeps bathroom areas neater and easier to maintain.

How does the touchless infrared sensor work and stay convenient?

The infrared motion detector opens the lid automatically when it senses hand or knee movement in front of the bin and keeps the lid open while motion remains. A visible green light indicates active sensing and begins a 5-second flashing countdown when motion stops, so you have time to finish disposing. For extended open time, use the manual button on the lid to lock it open or close it at will.

• Instant open when motion detected; no contact required.
• Green steady light while sensing, flashing 5-second countdown on exit.
• Manual lid button for long tasks or override.
• Operates on 2 AA batteries (not included) for simple installation.

Will a 5-gallon size fit in small bathroom or office corners?

The Cesun model was made with a slim footprint so it fits next to toilets, vanities, or beneath sinks while offering more capacity than many 2–3 gallon alternatives. That larger internal volume means fewer bag changes and less maintenance without sacrificing space. The removable inner ring keeps bags tucked in to preserve the clean silhouette.

• 5-gallon interior holds more waste than typical small cans.
• Compact external dimensions for narrow spaces and corners.
• Removable bag-fix ring prevents overhang and bag slips.
• Low-profile black finish blends with most décor styles.

How does the lid control odors and handle bathroom humidity?

The lid forms a snug seal that helps contain smells inside the can, and its IPX5-rated splash resistance protects the electronics from water exposure common in bathrooms. Smooth surfaces wipe clean easily, and sealing reduces the need for frequent deep cleans. The combination of tight closure and splash protection keeps the unit functioning reliably in humid settings.

• Snug-sealing lid limits odor escape into the room.
• IPX5 splash resistance shields sensor and motor from moisture.
• Wipe-clean exterior for fast maintenance.
• Inner ring and sealed lid prevent leaks and bag shifting.

What installation, power, and maintenance should I expect?

Setup is straightforward: insert two AA batteries and place a standard 5-gallon or smaller kitchen/bathroom bag inside the removable inner ring. Follow the quick-start steps in the included manual or video for sensor alignment. Routine maintenance is limited to occasional surface wiping and bag replacement—no wiring or special tools required.

• Requires 2 AA batteries (not included) for wireless operation.
• Removable inner ring simplifies bag changes and cleaning.
• Manual button allows lid control without moving batteries.
• User manual and video available for quick installation tips.
