cocobeen Portable Air Conditioner Window Kit — Universal Adjustable Seal for Sliding Vertical/Horizontal Windows with 5.9" Exhaust

cocobeen Portable Air Conditioner Window Kit is a universal, adjustable sealing system with a 5.9" exhaust hose adapter that fits most sliding vertical and horizontal windows to vent hot air outside.

This window vent kit turns a portable air conditioner into an efficient, low-leak setup by providing a flexible, reusable seal between the unit’s exhaust hose and your window opening. The kit includes multiple interlocking plates, a 5.9-inch coupler filter and adapter, sealing tape and screws so you can configure a snug fit for both vertical and horizontal sliding windows. Built from durable PVC, the components resist wear and compressive damage so you can reuse the system season after season.

How does the cocobeen kit prevent hot air from flowing back into the room?

The kit creates a tight barrier that directs hot exhaust outside while minimizing gaps where warm air can re-enter. Interlocking plates slide and lock into place to match your window width or height, and the included sealing tape fills remaining crevices for improved performance.

• Four adjustable seal plates form a continuous barrier
• Sealing tape closes small gaps around frames and sashes
• 5.9" coupler filter prevents debris from clogging the hose
• Sturdy PVC resists compression for lasting air-tight contact

Will this work with my sliding vertical or horizontal window?

Yes — the system is designed for both vertical and horizontal sliding windows and can be configured to fit a wide range of openings by combining two, three or four plates. Measure your window span and the kit’s adjustable length range to ensure a proper fit before installation.

• Stretchable length from about 16.9" to 63" to suit many window sizes
• Interlocking plates can be arranged for vertical or horizontal use
• Universal 5.9" exhaust connection fits most portable AC hoses
• Adapter and screws included for secure mounting

How easy is installation and removal for seasonal use?

Installation is tool-light and straightforward: slide the panels, lock them into place, attach the exhaust adapter, and apply the sealing tape as needed. When the unit is not in use you can quickly remove the kit, collapse the plates, and store them compactly until the next season.

• Panels slide and lock quickly—no special tools required
• Coupler filter snaps onto the 5.9" exhaust hose for debris protection
• Lightweight PVC makes handling and storage simple
• Quick disassembly for winter storage or room transitions

What materials and durability can I expect from cocobeen’s window seal?

The kit uses high-quality PVC designed to withstand repeated compression and frequent handling without cracking or deforming. This durability helps maintain a consistent seal and keeps the adapter and filter functioning longer than flimsier alternatives.

• Durable PVC resists extrusion and aging
• Reusable design for multiple cooling seasons
• Coupler filter prolongs hose performance and airflow
• Sealing tape and screws included for secure installation
