COLORCHARM Powder Hair Lightener 16 oz — Dust-Reduced Bleach Powder, Up to 7-Level Lift

COLORCHARM Powder Hair Lightener is a professional-strength, dust-reduced bleach powder formulated to lift natural or colored hair up to seven levels while helping retain moisture.

Designed for stylists and experienced DIYers, this powder lightener blends into a creamy consistency for predictable and even lift on both on- and off-scalp applications. A protective oil complex helps reduce dryness during processing, and the dust-reduced formula improves handling and minimizes airborne residue. Use it for foil highlights, balayage painting, full-head bleaching, regrowth correction, and other color-lifting services when precise, consistent lightening is needed.

How much lift can I expect from this lightener?

You can achieve up to seven levels of lift depending on your starting color, developer strength, and processing time. Results vary by hair porosity and previous color history, so strand testing is recommended before full application.

• Up to 7 levels of lift under ideal conditions
• Mix with appropriate developer (10–40 vol) for desired lift
• Do a strand test to estimate timing and end tone
• Do not exceed 50 minutes processing time

Is this safe for on-scalp techniques and sensitive areas?

The formula supports both on-scalp and off-scalp applications thanks to its controllable texture and the added oil system that helps maintain moisture. However, always follow safety precautions, perform a patch test for sensitivity, and avoid leaving the product on longer than recommended.

• Suitable for on-scalp application with careful monitoring
• Protecting oil system reduces extreme dryness during lift
• Follow manufacturer timing and do a sensitivity test
• Use non-metallic mixing tools and bowls only

How is this powder best used for highlights and balayage?

For controlled highlights and seamless balayage, the powder mixes into a malleable paste that spreads and adheres well to hair. It works effectively under foils for brighter results and can be painted freehand for soft, graduated lightening.

• Ideal for foil highlights to concentrate lift
• Paintable consistency for balayage and hand-painted techniques
• Pairs well with plastic brushes and non-metallic applicators
• Rinse promptly at target lift to preserve hair integrity

What processing and mixing guidelines should I follow?

Mix the powder in a non-metallic bowl with a developer suitable for your lift goal, and monitor processing closely. Do not exceed 50 minutes total processing time; over-processing increases risk of damage. Rinse and follow with appropriate post-lightening care to replenish moisture.

• Use plastic or glass bowls and brushes for mixing
• Recommended maximum processing time: 50 minutes
• Choose developer volume based on desired lift and hair condition
• Follow up with conditioning and neutralizing treatments

Who is this for: COLORCHARM Powder Hair Lightener suits professional stylists and knowledgeable home colorists who need a high-lift, reliable bleaching product with reduced dust and moisture-preserving properties. It’s a practical choice for anyone performing highlights, balayage, full-head lightening, regrowth corrections, or color adjustments—provided they follow safety guidelines, use proper developer strength, and conduct strand and patch tests before full application.
