Costa Farms Aloe Vera Live Indoor Succulent — Variegated 4" Décor Pot, Easy Care, Bright Light

This variegated Aloe Vera combines sculptural, spiky leaves with forgiving care requirements, making it an attractive choice for small apartments, sunny countertops, or office desks. Shipped fresh from Costa Farms, each plant is hand-selected and packaged to arrive ready to display. The plant ships at approximately 7 inches tall (pot rim to leaf tip) and comes in a decorative, non-draining container to prevent spills during delivery.

How much light does this Aloe need to look its best?

Aloe Vera prefers bright, direct sunlight for several hours each day; a south- or west-facing window is ideal. In lower-light spots it will survive but may stretch and lose compact shape, so monitor leaf color and position and gradually move it to brighter light if needed.

• Ideal: bright direct light 4–6 hours daily
• Acceptable: bright indirect light with occasional direct sun
• Avoid: long periods in deep shade or fluorescent-only light

What is the proper watering and soil routine?

Aloe Vera is drought-tolerant and prefers infrequent, thorough watering that allows the soil to dry between waterings. Water about once every two weeks with roughly 1/2 cup, letting excess drain away; because the included décor pot has no holes, take care to avoid overwatering and adjust frequency for your home’s humidity and temperature.

• Typical amount: ~1/2 cup every 10–14 days
• Ensure soil dries before watering again
• Never let the plant sit in standing water or soggy soil

How do I repot or encourage healthy growth?

The Aloe is a moderate grower and will eventually need a larger container as roots fill the pot. Repot in a slightly larger pot using fresh, well-draining potting mix; gently loosen roots, place plant, and fill around it with soil, then water lightly to settle the mix.

• Repot when roots crowd the pot or growth slows
• Choose a pot with drainage if moving from the decorative container
• Feed lightly in spring/summer with a balanced fertilizer per label instructions

Are there delivery or seasonal care considerations I should know?

Costa Farms ships plants with specialized packaging to protect them in transit, but cold weather can still stress succulents. If freezing temperatures are forecast, bring the plant inside immediately after delivery and avoid prolonged exposure to drafts or icy conditions.

• Plants arrive fresh and packaged for safe shipping
• Bring indoors if temperatures approach freezing
• Inspect upon arrival and allow acclimation before changing light/watering
