Coway Airmega 400/400S Replacement Filter Set — Max2 Green True HEPA + Activated Carbon, 1-Year Pack

The Coway Airmega 400/400S Replacement Filter Set (AP-2015-FP) is a genuine two-piece filter pack combining a Max 2 Green True HEPA and an Active Carbon layer to refresh your Airmega 400 or 400S for up to one year of cleaner indoor air.

Keep your Airmega running like new with this manufacturer-made filter set. Each kit pairs a high-efficiency HEPA media designed to trap microscopic particles with a specially formulated activated carbon layer that reduces odors and many common gaseous pollutants. Independent lab testing by recognized bodies (KCL, SGS, Intertek and others) shows strong performance against a range of particulates, allergens and volatile compounds under controlled conditions; actual results vary by room size, airflow and pollutant concentration.

How does this filter set improve everyday indoor air?

The HEPA component captures very small airborne particles while the activated carbon targets odors and VOCs, giving broader air-cleaning capability than a single-media filter. Together they help lower visible dust, pet dander and many common household smells.

• True HEPA media traps ultrafine particles and allergens down to typical HEPA-rated sizes.
• Activated carbon reduces VOCs and odors from cooking, pets, and smoke.
• Lab tests show high removal ratios for formaldehyde, toluene and other gases under test conditions.

Which Coway models are compatible and how often should I replace them?

This replacement set is made for the Coway Airmega 400 and 400S models and matches the AP-2015-FP specification. Replacement frequency depends on usage and air quality, but Coway recommends up to one year of typical operation before changing filters.

• Designed specifically for Airmega 400 & 400S models (fits specified SKU numbers).
• Built-in filter indicator on compatible units signals when it’s time to replace.
• One set generally covers about 12 months in normal home conditions.

What kinds of pollutants and allergens does this filter set target?

Under lab conditions the HEPA media and carbon layer demonstrated reduction of a wide spectrum of contaminants. Tests include ultrafine particles, common allergens and several gaseous pollutants; performance in a real home will vary with concentration and ventilation.

• High reduction rates shown for pollen, pet allergens and dust-mite related particles in independent lab testing.
• Carbon media tested to reduce formaldehyde, toluene, ammonia and sulfur compounds in controlled chambers.
• Intertek and other laboratories reported strong removal results for sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and naphthalene in tests.

How do I install and maintain the replacement filters?

Installation is straightforward: open the Airmega housing, remove the used filters, and insert the new HEPA and activated carbon components in the correct orientation. Routine maintenance includes checking the unit’s indicator and gently vacuuming pre-filter surfaces if accessible.

• Swap filters following the sequence in the owner’s manual to ensure proper airflow and seal.
• Use the purifier’s filter indicator to track replacement timing—typically around 12 months.
• Avoid washing HEPA or carbon filters; replace them when the indicator or performance suggests.

Who this is for: This Coway replacement set is intended for Airmega 400 and 400S owners who want authentic, manufacturer-approved filters to preserve peak purifier performance. It’s a good choice for households with pets, allergy sensitivities, or regular cooking and indoor activity where both particulate capture and odor/gas reduction are priorities.
