CRAFTSMAN 1/4-Inch Drive Mechanics Tool Set, 20-Piece — 90-Tooth Low-Profile Ratchet, VERSASTACK Case

The CRAFTSMAN 20-piece 1/4-inch drive mechanics set (CMMT12108) is a compact, vehicle- and workshop-ready socket kit built around a low-profile 90-tooth ratchet for improved access in tight spaces.

This mechanics set brings together the small-drive essentials you reach for most often: a thin-headed ratchet with a 5° swing arc, a selection of 6-point sockets, an extension bar and accessory pieces, all housed in a VERSASTACK-compatible case. It’s engineered to give quicker engagement and better clearance when working around engine bays, appliance interiors, or cramped assemblies. Every piece has a polished chrome finish to resist corrosion, and the tools are covered by CRAFTSMAN’s Full Lifetime Warranty.

How does the low-profile 90-tooth ratchet improve access?

The ratchet head is reshaped to be up to 25% thinner than previous models, letting you reach fasteners in narrow openings. The 90-tooth mechanism reduces required swing motion to just 5 degrees, so you can operate the tool when clearance is minimal and repeated repositioning is impractical.

• Up to 25% thinner head for tighter-angle engagement
• 90-tooth gear gives 5° swing for small movements
• Quick directional switch and reliable tooth engagement

What sockets and accessories are included in the 20-piece kit?

This set focuses on standard 1/4-inch drive components you’ll use for small fasteners and delicate tasks. It includes multiple 6-point sockets—designed to grip flats rather than corners—plus a short extension and drive accessories that expand versatility for common repair jobs.

• Selection of 6-point sockets in common sizes for secure gripping
• 1/4-inch drive extension for recessed fasteners
• Drive accessories to adapt to varied repair scenarios

Is the set durable and easy to store?

Each tool has a full polish chrome finish to help prevent rust and simplify cleaning after use. The compact kit nests in a molded case that fits the CRAFTSMAN VERSASTACK storage system, so you can combine it with other modules or carry it alone to the jobsite.

• Polished chrome finish for corrosion resistance and easy wipe-down
• Molded, compact case compatible with VERSASTACK organizers
• Secure slots keep pieces organized and visible at a glance

What warranty and long-term support come with the tools?

CRAFTSMAN backs this set with its Full Lifetime Warranty, meaning the company stands behind material and workmanship for the life of the product. If a tool fails under normal use, CRAFTSMAN provides support and replacement options per their warranty terms.

• Full Lifetime Warranty for defects in materials and workmanship
• Customer service channels for replacement and support
• Parts and accessory compatibility across CRAFTSMAN lines
