What surfaces can I use these markers on?

Each marker type is formulated for specific surfaces so you get predictable performance. Broad-line markers are ideal for standard and construction paper, Gel FX works well on dark or glossy materials, and window markers are made for glass, mirrors, and car windows.

• Ultra-clean broad line: paper, cardstock, poster board, and general art projects.
• Gel FX: dark construction paper, black poster board, plastic, foil, and glossy craft surfaces.
• Window markers: household windows, mirrors, glass frames, and mylar.

How easy is cleanup after creative play?

Cleanup is a core benefit: colors rinse from skin and most washable clothing, and many household surfaces wipe clean. That reduces stress for caregivers and keeps art time focused on creativity rather than stains.

• Marker ink washes from hands with soap and water.
• Most launderable fabrics release color in a normal washing cycle.
• Window and glazed surfaces wipe off with a damp cloth or standard glass cleaner.

How do these markers support different art techniques?

The set encourages a range of techniques by pairing broad tips for bold coverage with specialty pens for accents and effects. Kids and students can mix layering, shading, and highlight work while experimenting with contrast on light and dark backgrounds.

• Broad-line tips allow thick lines, filling large areas, and varied pressure control for thinner strokes.
• Gel FX pens add vivid, opaque highlights on dark paper for pops of contrast.
• Window markers enable removable messages and seasonal display art on glass.

Do these markers work with the Air Marker Sprayer?

Yes — the broad-line markers in the set pair with Crayola's Air Marker Sprayer (sold separately) for airbrushed effects and larger-scale projects. Using them together expands texture and finish options while keeping cleanup simple.

• Broad-line markers serve as refill-compatible colors for air spraying play.
• Combine Gel FX and window markers for mixed-medium displays and accent details.
• Great for group projects, classroom demonstrations, and craft events.
