Cuisinart Salad Spinner 4.73 L Spin-Stop CTG-00-SAS1 — Green/White, Instant-Stop & Drain Port

Keep leafy greens crisp and countertops clean with a purpose-built 5-quart spinner designed for home kitchens. The Cuisinart Large Spin Stop Salad Spinner (CTG-00-SAS1) combines a clear serving bowl, a smooth spin mechanism, and an easy-access lid opening so you can add or pour away water without disassembling the unit. Its green-and-white styling fits casual and contemporary kitchens, while the non-skid base and secure lid lock reduce spills and wobble during use.

How does the spin-and-stop mechanism make salad prep faster?

The spinner uses a top-mounted knob to build rotational speed in the inner basket; when you need to halt motion, a dedicated brake button stops the basket instantly. This single-handed control saves time compared with manual towel-drying and reduces damage to delicate leaves. The lid’s water port means you can rinse and drain without opening the spinner mid-cycle.

• Top spin knob for steady, controllable rotations
• Instant-stop button to safely end spinning immediately
• Integrated drainage opening to add or remove water without removing lid
• One-handed operation keeps prep efficient and tidy

Will it handle large batches and still be easy to store?

With a 5-quart capacity, this Cuisinart spinner is sized to clean family portions of lettuce, herbs, and berries in a single cycle. The clear outer bowl doubles as a serving container so you can rinse, spin, and present with the same vessel — reducing extra dishes. Its compact footprint and stackable shape let you tuck it on a pantry shelf or countertop without taking excessive space.

• Generous 5-quart capacity for larger salads or multiple servings
• Clear bowl that converts to a serving dish to save cookware
• Stable, space-conscious design suitable for kitchen cabinets
• Non-skid base prevents sliding during vigorous spins

How simple is cleaning and maintenance?

All major parts are dishwasher-safe, so cleanup is quick after use. The smooth interior surfaces rinse clean and the removable basket detaches easily for thorough washing. Because the lid locks securely, water stays inside while you move or pour until you choose to unlock and empty it.

• Dishwasher-safe components for low-effort cleaning
• Removable inner basket for hand-washing or inspection
• Sealed lid design keeps countertops dry while draining
• Durable finish resists stains and food residue buildup

What safety and durability features are included?

The spinner includes a secure locking lid and a non-skid base to minimize movement during spinning, which reduces the risk of spills. The stop button lets you halt rotation instantly, offering safe control when removing the lid. Cuisinart backs the product with a lifetime warranty to support long-term use.

• Secure lid lock prevents accidental opening during use
• Brake button provides immediate stopping power for safety
• Non-skid base increases stability on countertops
• Lifetime warranty supports product longevity and confidence
