Depets Large Cat Door 9.9" x 9.2" — 4-Way Locking Weatherproof Pet Flap for Doors, Noise-Reducing Brush

Depets Large Cat Door is a weather-resistant, 4-way locking pet flap designed for interior and exterior doors to let cats under 17.64 lb and waist circumference under 23.62" move freely while keeping your home secure.

This compact pet portal combines a transparent flap, multiple lock modes and a noise-reducing brush strip in a durable ABS frame. Engineered for easy installation into doors, windows or cupboards, the unit offers a practical balance of visibility for your cat, protection from wind and rain, and four independent locking choices so you control access. Cut-out and outer dimensions are included for accurate fitting; the lightweight flap and smooth finish make it suitable for most household doors.

How big is the Depets Large Cat Door and will it fit my door?

The outer frame measures 9.25" x 9.92" x 2.16" (W x H x D) while the inner opening is 7.08" x 7.48" (W x H). The recommended cut-out size is 7.7" x 8.3" (W x H). These dimensions suit cats lighter than 17.64 lb and with a waist circumference under 23.62".

• Outer frame: 9.25" wide × 9.92" high × 2.16" deep
• Inner pass-through: 7.08" × 7.48"
• Cut-out template: 7.7" × 8.3" for mount
• Recommended for cats below 17.64 lb and 23.62" waist

Which locking modes are available and how do they work?

The Depets flap provides four switching modes: outward-only, inward-only, both directions, and fully locked. Each mode is controlled by a simple slide switch on the frame so you can tailor access without tools. The four-option system is helpful for training, restricted outdoor access, or overnight security.

• Out-only: lets pet exit but not return
• In-only: allows entry but prevents leaving
• Both in & out: free movement each direction
• Fully locked: secures doorway from pet traffic

Is the Depets cat door durable and weatherproof?

Constructed from ABS plastic with a water-resistant exterior screen and a transparent flap, this pet door stands up to everyday outdoor exposure and indoor wear. The smooth surface is easy to wipe clean and resists fading. A built-in brush strip softens the flap’s movement, reducing slaps and rattling in breezy conditions.

• ABS frame: impact-resistant and long-lasting
• Water-resistant exterior to reduce damp ingress
• Transparent flap for visibility and pet comfort
• Brush strip minimizes noise and wear

How easy is installation and where can it be mounted?

Depets includes a complete instruction set and a cut-out template so most DIYers can fit the unit with common household tools. The shallow 2.16" depth and compact size allow mounting in interior doors, exterior doors, windows, and even cabinets. Measure twice and follow the template for a neat, weather-tight installation.

• Included instructions and cut-out template for accurate installation
• Suits doors, windows, cupboards and light wall panels
• Shallow depth fits standard door thicknesses
• Fasteners and sealing recommended per instruction sheet
