DEWALT 20V MAX XR Jig Saw — Bare Tool (DCS334B), Brushless, 3,200 SPM, Tool-Free Blade

This compact jig saw combines a brushless motor, variable electronic speed control up to 3,200 strokes per minute, and a 4-position orbital action so you can tailor performance for fast, clean cuts across wood, plastics, and sheet materials. The unit ships as a bare tool (battery and charger sold separately), making it a flexible addition to an existing DEWALT 20V MAX battery fleet. Designed for pros and serious DIYers, the DCS334B balances power, control, and quick-change convenience.

How does this jig saw deliver consistent cutting power?

The brushless motor increases runtime and maintains torque under load for steady cutting speed, while the electronic trigger and speed dial let you dial in the ideal blade pace for the material. A bright onboard LED improves visibility of the cut line when lighting is poor.

• Brushless motor for efficient power and longer runtime
• Variable speed trigger plus a speed dial for 0–3,200 spm control
• Integrated LED to light the cut path

Can I change blades and set bevels quickly on the job?

Yes — the DCS334B features an all-metal, lever-action keyless blade clamp that accepts t-shank blades for rapid swaps without tools. The shoe bevel is also keyless and indexed with common detents to speed up angled cuts and repeatable setups.

• Tool-free lever-action clamp for fast t-shank blade changes
• All-metal shoe bevel with detents at 0°, 15°, 30°, and a positive 45° stop
• Removable no-mar shoe cover protects finished surfaces

What cut control features help with different materials and accuracy?

The four-position orbital action gives you a range between aggressive, fast cuts and fine, clean cuts, depending on the material. An integrated dust blower keeps the kerf visible, and the compact body shape improves grip and maneuverability for curved or detailed work.

• 4-position orbital action to balance speed and cut quality
• Dust blower clears sawdust from the cut line for accuracy
• Compact form factor for improved control on tight cuts

What safety and finish-protection features are included?

The unit incorporates an easy-to-adjust shoe cover that helps prevent scuffs and marring on delicate surfaces. Metal construction at the blade clamp and shoe adds durability and reduces play during aggressive cutting, while the LED and blower increase visibility to reduce mistakes.

• No-mar shoe cover to protect workpieces from scratches
• All-metal components for long-term durability and stability
• LED and dust blower for safer, more accurate cuts
