Diaper Genie Platinum nappy bin — Stainless-steel, hands-free disposal with odour-lock and foot pedal

The Diaper Genie Platinum Pail is a stainless-steel, hands-free diaper disposal system with odor-locking clamps and a long-lasting Easy Roll™ refill.

Designed to make diaper changes cleaner and quieter, the Diaper Genie Platinum combines a sleek metal finish with practical features to control nursery odors and minimize fuss. At 27 inches tall with a wide opening and soft-closing lid, it’s built for frequent use and discreet placement in nurseries, bathrooms, or changing stations. The included Easy Roll™ refill and foot pedal make it simple to operate while keeping smells contained.

How does the Platinum pail prevent odors from escaping?

The pail uses multiple physical barriers to limit smells: twin odor-locking clamps at the disposal point plus a multi-layer film refill with an odor-blocking barrier. The combination reduces air exchange and helps trap smells inside the bag, while the soft-closing lid further seals the top.

• Dual odor-locking clamps at the opening to block exposure between uses
• Easy Roll™ multi-layer film refill with barrier technology
• Soft-closing lid reduces air movement and noise

How convenient is it to use during diaper changes?

Hands-free operation is possible with the built-in foot pedal for quick disposal when both hands are occupied. The wide opening accommodates standard and bulky newborn diapers and the 27" height reduces bending. Refills are designed for easy loading and tear-off bags simplify disposal.

• Foot pedal for true hands-free disposal
• Wide mouth and 27" height for quick, clean transfers
• Perforated, easy tear-off refill bags for faster changes

What capacity and refill lifespan can I expect?

The Platinum pail holds up to 47 newborn diapers in a single pail compartment; the included Easy Roll™ refill is engineered to last significantly longer. One refill set contains 18 tear-off bags and, when used with newborn diapers, can last up to about five months or hold the equivalent of up to 846 newborn diapers with full continuous use.

• Pail capacity: approximately 47 newborn diapers between emptying cycles
• Included Easy Roll™ refill: 18 perforated bags
• Refill longevity: up to about five months with typical newborn use
