Dirt Devil Scorpion Plus Handheld Vacuum — Corded Lightweight with XL Easy-Empty Dirt Cup

The Dirt Devil Scorpion Plus Handheld Vacuum is a lightweight, corded hand vac built for fast spot cleaning with strong suction and multi-surface tools.

Compact and easy to handle, the Scorpion Plus is designed for quick cleanups across the home — from upholstery and staircases to countertops and tight crevices. This portable model pairs corded power with a low weight and an XL easy-empty dirt cup so you can clear messes effectively without frequent trips to the trash. It includes specialty attachments that help reach narrow or awkward areas while keeping storage and use simple.

How does the Scorpion Plus perform on everyday spills and pet hair?

The Scorpion Plus delivers focused suction for small to medium messes, making it well suited to crumbs, dust and light pet hair. Its multi-surface accessories let you switch between fabric, hard surfaces and narrow gaps quickly so you can handle different tasks without swapping machines.

• Powerful corded motor for continuous suction without recharge waits
• Multi-surface tools capture pet hair from upholstery and stairs
• QuickFlip crevice tool accesses narrow seams and tight spots
• XL dirt cup reduces emptying frequency during heavier tidying

What accessories come with the hand vac and when should I use them?

The Scorpion Plus includes a crevice tool and other multi-surface attachments to handle different cleaning situations. Use the crevice tool for corners and seat tracks, a brush or nozzle for delicate surfaces, and the primary nozzle for open areas and floors.

• Crevice tool for narrow gaps, between cushions and car interiors
• Brush/nozzle for upholstery, lampshades and textured surfaces
• Wide intake for quick pickup on counters and hard floors
• Tool storage integrated or compactly storable when not in use

How easy is it to empty, store and maintain?

The XL easy-empty dirt cup makes disposal straightforward and tidy, while the corded design removes battery maintenance concerns. Filters and the dirt cup are accessible for simple cleaning, and the unit’s compact form makes shelf or cabinet storage convenient.

• XL dirt cup designed for fewer trips to the trash
• Removable parts for quick rinsing and filter maintenance
• Corded power eliminates recharge cycles and runtime limits
• Lightweight body reduces fatigue for handheld use and carrying stairs

Where does the Scorpion Plus work best around the home?

This model is optimized for spot cleaning and tight spaces rather than whole-house deep cleans. It excels on stairs, car interiors, kitchen counters, couches, and other places where a full-size vacuum is awkward or unnecessary.

• Stairs and upholstery where mobility and control matter
• Car interiors and trunk areas for quick vehicle tidying
• Kitchen counters, tabletops, and small floor spills
• Closets, window sills and areas with tight access

Who is this for: The Dirt Devil Scorpion Plus is ideal for busy households, pet owners, and car owners who need fast, reliable spot cleaning without the bulk of a full-size vacuum. If you want a lightweight, corded handheld that offers continuous power, targeted tools and easy maintenance for everyday messes, this model is a practical, budget-friendly choice.
