DOMINOX Propane Torch Head Trigger-Start for Propane/MAP/MAPP Gas — 1300 °C Turbo Flame, CGA600 Regulator

The DOMINOX Propane Torch Head is a high-intensity, trigger-start torch head and kit designed to use propane, MAP, or MAPP gas for soldering, brazing, welding, and general heat tasks.

This torch head combines a pressure-regulated, turbo flame with a trigger ignition and durable components to give a reliable, easy-to-control heat source for tradespeople, hobbyists, and kitchen or outdoor tasks. The handle features a non-slip textured finish, an internal regulator for upside-down use, and brass fittings for longer service life. It connects to standard CGA600 fittings and reaches temperatures suitable for copper brazing and many metalwork tasks.

How hot does the DOMINOX torch get and what fuels does it use?

The torch head produces a high-intensity flame with a maximum operating temperature up to about 2372 °F, making it suitable for brazing, small-scale welding, and heavy soldering jobs. It is compatible with common gas canisters to keep your fuel options flexible.

• Operates with propane, MAP, and MAPP gas via CGA600 connection
• Maximum temperature around 2372 °F for brazing and welding copper
• Turbo-style flame for concentrated, fast heating

How easy and safe is ignition and flame control?

This model uses a trigger-start ignition that is engineered for consistent starters and efficient fuel use. A flame lock and a one-click extinguish feature make it straightforward to set and secure the flame during work, while internal pressure regulation helps prevent sputtering when the torch is tilted.

• Reliable piezo/trigger ignition for repeatable starts
• Flame lock and single-action extinguish for secure control
• Built-in pressure regulator supports upside-down operation up to 30 minutes

What materials and build features improve durability and performance?

The DOMINOX torch head is built with a cast-iron style handle and brass valve components to resist heat and wear. The handle’s frosted anti-slip texture improves grip during long tasks, and the brass valve adds longevity for repeated high-temperature use.

• Cast-iron textured handle for secure grip and durability
• Brass valve and flame lock for repeated high-temperature cycles
• Robust nozzle and fittings compatible with CGA600 tanks

What tasks and projects can this torch handle?

From plumbing and metal fabrication to culinary work and outdoor maintenance, the DOMINOX torch covers many applications. It is designed to handle industrial-style tasks like brazing copper lines, as well as household jobs such as heat shrinking, thawing, and surface rust removal.

• Brazing and soldering copper pipes up to 3/4 inch
• Small welding, metal fabrication, and industrial repairs
• Cooking tasks, BBQ finishing, thawing, and rust removal
