Dr. Killigan's Clothing Moth Traps — White 20-Pack Pheromone Sticky Traps for Wool & Closet Protection

Dr. Killigan's Premium Clothing Moth Traps are ready-to-use sticky pheromone traps designed to intercept male clothes moths and break the moth mating cycle to protect wool, fur, and other textiles.

These disposable, white pheromone traps come in a pack of 20 and are formulated specifically for the two most common fabric-infesting species: the web-spinning Tineola bisselliella and the case-bearing Tinea pellionella. Each trap contains an integrated pheromone lure and adhesive surface so you can simply open, peel, and fold—no separate wafers or chemical sprays required. The traps are non-toxic and intended as a preventive and monitoring tool to reduce reproduction and migration of moths in closets, storage boxes, and other textile storage areas.

How quickly will I see a reduction in moth activity?

Traps begin attracting male moths immediately after setup, so you can expect catches within days if moths are present. Reduction of mating opportunities happens over weeks as fewer males reach females, which lowers new egg-laying and future larvae.

• Visible moths often captured in 48–72 hours when infestations exist.
• Noticeable decline in new fabric damage within several weeks.
• Continuous placement in closets provides ongoing monitoring and control.

Where should I place the traps for best results?

Position traps near dark, undisturbed storage such as closets, garment bags, or under beds—areas where moths prefer to mate and lay eggs. Place traps at shoulder height or near baseboards for broad coverage and to intercept flying males before they reach fabrics.

• Hang or rest traps inside closets among hanging garments.
• Place near dressers, wardrobes, or attic storage boxes.
• Use multiple traps in large areas—spacing them every 6–10 feet for even protection.

Can these traps harm my clothes or pets?

The traps use a targeted pheromone lure and adhesive; they don’t spray chemicals and are non-toxic. Keep traps out of reach of pets and children to avoid contact with the sticky surface, and do not place directly on delicate fabrics where adhesive transfer might occur.

• Non-toxic formulation avoids household pesticide exposure.
• Adhesive is contained on the trap surface—avoid direct fabric contact.
• Safe to use alongside non-toxic sprays as part of a prevention plan.

How long does each trap remain effective?

Each trap includes a pre-applied pheromone lure designed to remain active for several weeks under normal indoor conditions. Replace traps periodically—especially in high-traffic or high-infestation situations—to maintain continuous interception and monitoring.

• Pheromone activity typically lasts multiple weeks, depending on airflow and temperature.
• Inspect traps regularly and swap out when saturated with insects or dust.
• Use fresh traps seasonally or after resolving an active infestation for prevention.
