DrainWig Shower Drain Hair Catcher White Flower 2-Pack — Disposable, Easy-Install Chain Trap

DrainWig is a disposable shower hair catcher that threads a chain through your drain to trap long strands before they cause slow or blocked drains.

Designed by parents tired of pulling hair from pipes, the DrainWig White Flower (2-pack) provides an easy, low-touch way to keep shower drains flowing. The decorative flower sits on the drain cover while a flexible chain drops into the trap, catching strands out of sight. The unit is intended for standard shower drains and is replaced every 2–4 months depending on use, giving you a tidy, sanitary alternative to fishing clumps from the surface.

How does DrainWig stop hair from reaching the pipes?

The DrainWig uses a flexible stainless-steel chain that threads through the drain cover into the pipe, collecting hair as water runs past it. Hair gathers along the chain where it can be removed and discarded when full, reducing the amount that enters the plumbing system.

• Chain drops into the drain to intercept long strands below the cover
• Flower top sits on the drain to keep the chain centered and discrete
• No mesh or surface netting that clogs quickly—captures hair deeper in the drain
• Designed not to impede water flow while catching hair

Is installation difficult and what tools are needed?

Installation requires no tools: thread the attached stainless-steel chain through your shower drain cover and let the decorative flower rest over the grate. The process takes just a minute and is reversible—remove and replace the DrainWig when the chain becomes loaded with hair.

• No tools, adhesives, or plumbing changes required
• Fits most standard shower drain covers without modification
• Quick swap-out: replace every 2–4 months or sooner if needed
• Disposable design simplifies maintenance and limits contact with collected hair

Will DrainWig affect shower drainage or water flow?

DrainWig is engineered to let water pass freely while catching long hairs. The chain sits vertically in the opening so water and small debris flow around it; you should not notice changes in shower performance under normal conditions.

• Open-chain design maintains typical drain flow
• Flower top keeps the chain centered and stable during use
• Works with typical shower water pressure and temperature
• Replace when buildup appears to maintain optimal flow

Who is this for: DrainWig is ideal for households with long-haired family members, renters who want a non-permanent clog-prevention solution, and anyone seeking a cleaner, hands-off way to reduce bathroom plumbing issues. The White Flower 2-pack provides a discreet, decorative option that blends with most bathroom styles while offering two replacements for ongoing protection. If you want to avoid frequent plumbing calls or messy surface hair removal, this disposable chain-style trap is a convenient, easy-to-install choice.
