Drymate XL Oil Spill Mat 36" x 59" – Extra-Large Reusable Absorbent Garage Mat with Waterproof Backing

The Drymate XL Oil Spill Mat (36" x 59") is a large, reusable, absorbent garage mat that captures oil and other vehicle fluids while protecting floors with a waterproof, slip-resistant backing.

If you want a heavy-duty floor protector that soaks up leaks and spills without letting liquids pass through, this extra-large mat is built for garages, workshops, and parking areas. Its top layer is an absorbent polyester fabric made with over 50% recycled fibers, and the underside is a bonded waterproof layer that blocks motor oil, brake fluid, gasoline, and coolants from reaching concrete or epoxy floors. Designed for repeated use, the mat rinses clean and air dries quickly so you can reuse it season after season.

How does this mat stop stains and seepage?

The Drymate mat combines a highly absorbent non-woven polyester top with a liquid-impermeable polyolefin backing to contain and hold vehicle fluids. Liquids are wicked into the top layer while the waterproof layer prevents transfer to the floor below.

• Top layer: non-woven polyester with >50% recycled fibers for rapid absorption.
• Waterproof backing: bonded polyolefin layer blocks leaks and stains.
• Dimension: 36" x 59" covers large drip zones under vehicles and equipment.

Will the mat stay put and resist slips?

The mat includes a textured, slip-resistant backing that helps it remain stationary under vehicles and foot traffic. The backing also adds durability so the product lies flat and resists curling that can cause trips.

• Slip-resistant underside reduces movement on garage floors.
• Durable construction resists deformation from vehicle weight.
• Flat, large footprint minimizes edges that could catch tires.

How do I clean and care for the mat?

Cleaning is straightforward: remove loose debris, scrub with mild soap, rinse, and hang to air dry. The mat is reusable — do not use bleach or high heat — which keeps it functional and reduces waste versus disposable pads.

• Hand-scrub or hose off with mild detergent.
• Hang or drape to air dry; avoid machine drying or bleaching.
• Reusable design supports multiple cleanings and long-term use.

What materials and environmental features does it have?

The absorbent face is made of polyester fibers with a majority recycled content, while the backing is a phthalate- and BPA-free polyolefin film. The combination keeps fluids on the mat and supports more sustainable material choices compared with single-use pads.

• Absorbent top: non-woven polyester (>50% recycled fibers).
• Back layer: liquid-bonded polyolefin, free of phthalates and BPA.
• Proudly made in the USA from recycled and durable materials.

Who is this for: The Drymate XL Oil Spill Mat is ideal for homeowners, mechanics, hobbyists, or fleet managers who need a dependable, large-area solution for capturing vehicle drips and protecting concrete or finished floors. If you want a reusable, easy-to-clean barrier that prevents fluids from reaching your garage surface and reduces disposable waste, this mat is designed to meet that need.
