Elite Gourmet double cast-iron hot plate 2-burner, Black — 1500W, adjustable temp controls

The Elite Gourmet EDB-302BF is a compact, portable double cast-iron electric hot plate with two adjustable burners and 1,500 watts of combined power for versatile cooking and buffet warming.

Designed for extra-cooking needs at home, on the road, or at events, this twin-burner hot plate gives you two flat cast-iron cooking surfaces—6.5 inches and 6 inches—each with its own temperature control and power indicator. The low-profile black housing stores easily and adds a tidy, functional element to countertop cooking or buffet service. Nonstick cast-iron plates ensure steady heat transfer and simplify cleanup without taking up much space.

How quickly does the double burner heat and what temperature control do I get?

This model reaches usable temperatures fast thanks to a combined 1,500W output and two independent controls. Each burner offers LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH settings so you can simmer, maintain, or sear as needed without guessing. Indicator lights show when a plate is powered, helping you avoid accidental contact.

• Combined power: 1500 watts for efficient heating
• Individual temperature knobs with Low / Med / Hi settings
• Power indicator lights for each burner

Will the cast-iron plates give even results and are they easy to clean?

The flat cast-iron surfaces distribute heat evenly across cookware or pans placed on them, reducing hot spots common with some portable units. Their nonstick finish lets residue wipe away with a damp cloth or nonabrasive sponge, making post-use cleanup straightforward. Avoid harsh scrubbing to keep the coating intact and prolong plate life.

• Flat 6.5" and 6" cast-iron plates for even heat
• Nonstick finish for simple wiping and maintenance
• Recommended cleaning: damp cloth or nonabrasive sponge

How safe and stable is the burner during use?

Built-in safety features include dual power indicator lights and non-skid feet that help keep the unit steady on countertops. The low-profile design reduces tipping risk and keeps controls accessible without reaching over hot surfaces. As with all countertop appliances, allow plates to cool fully before moving or storing.

• Dual indicator lights to show when powered on
• Non-skid feet for secure placement during cooking
• Low-profile housing decreases accidental tipping

Where is this portable hot plate most useful?

The Elite Gourmet EDB-302BF shines as an extra cooktop for holiday prep, buffet service, dorm-room meals, office kitchens, or camping where reliable electric heat is available. Its compact size and separate controls let you hold sauces warm on one plate while bringing another to a simmer. When not active, it tucks into a cabinet for space-saving storage.
