The Epson EcoTank ET-2800 is a cartridge-free wireless all-in-one color printer that uses high-capacity refillable ink tanks to deliver low-cost, high-quality home prints, scans and copies.

Designed for families and home offices that want fewer ink headaches, the ET-2800 replaces tiny cartridges with refillable ink bottles that last thousands of pages. It combines printing, copying and a high-resolution flatbed scanner with simple wireless setup, voice-activated printing and Epson’s Micro Piezo Heat-Free Technology for consistent color and sharp documents. The result is an affordable everyday printer built to minimize interruptions and cartridge waste while giving you the essentials for photos, schoolwork and household paperwork.

How does the EcoTank system reduce ink costs and interruptions?

The ET-2800 ships with high-yield ink bottles that replace dozens of individual cartridges, so you replace ink far less often and lower per-page costs. Each full set of bottles can be equivalent to around 90 cartridge replacements, and replacement sets offer thousands of pages in both black and color.

• Refillable front-facing ink tanks for easy monitoring and refilling
• Up to approximately 4,500 black / 7,500 color pages per replacement ink set
• Fewer purchases and less packaging waste than cartridge-based printers

What printing performance and quality can I expect at home?

The ET-2800 uses Micro Piezo Heat-Free printheads to deliver vivid color and sharp text while operating efficiently. It prints at about 10 ISO pages per minute for black-and-white documents, making it suitable for everyday tasks and moderate home office workloads.

• Color and document printing with accurate detail for photos and reports
• 10 ISO ppm black printing speed for steady throughput on larger jobs
• High-resolution flatbed scanner for copying and digitizing important pages

How easy is setup and connectivity for multiple devices?

Setup is straightforward with wireless connectivity and mobile printing options; the ET-2800 supports standard Wi‑Fi networks and voice-activated printing for hands-free convenience. A simple color display and front ink access make daily operation intuitive for any household member.

• Wireless printing from smartphones, tablets and computers
• Voice-activated printing compatibility for quick hands-free jobs
• User-friendly color display and easy refill access at the front

Are there environmental or maintenance benefits to choosing this model?

By eliminating throwaway cartridges, the EcoTank design reduces plastic waste and packaging associated with frequent cartridge changes. The heat-free print technology also aims for reliable operation without thermal stress on printheads.

• Significantly less cartridge waste compared with traditional printers
• Refill bottles reduce packaging and transport impact over time
• Manufacturer recommends genuine Epson ink to help protect performance
