The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3823 is a compact, wireless color all‑in‑one inkjet designed to deliver fast, high‑quality prints, scans and copies for small offices and busy workgroups.

Built around Epson’s PrecisionCore Heat‑Free Technology and DURABrite® Ultra pigment inks, the WF‑3823 balances speed, print accuracy and everyday reliability. It supports duplex printing, a 250‑sheet capacity, a 35‑page single‑pass auto document feeder, and a 2.7" color touchscreen for straightforward control. With built‑in Wi‑Fi, Wi‑Fi Direct, Ethernet and mobile app support, this model fits modern hybrid workflows where printing from phones, tablets or cloud services is common.

How quickly can the WF‑3823 handle busy print jobs?

The WF‑3823 is engineered for higher throughput than typical home printers. Measured to ISO standards, it reaches up to 21 pages per minute in black and up to 11 pages per minute in color, and it produces its first page rapidly for faster task starts.

• ISO‑rated speeds: up to 21 ppm (black) and 11 ppm (color)
• Fast first page out to reduce wait time on single documents
• 250‑sheet paper tray to limit refills during heavy use

What print quality and media handling does it offer?

PrecisionCore print technology together with DURABrite Ultra pigment inks yields crisp text and vibrant color suitable for reports, proposals and client materials. Auto duplexing and a sizable paper capacity allow the printer to manage multi‑page tasks without constant intervention.

• PrecisionCore for accurate dot placement and sharper text
• Instant‑dry pigment inks for smudge resistance on typical office media
• Automatic 2‑sided printing and a 250‑sheet cassette for longer runs

How does the WF‑3823 simplify scanning, copying and mobile printing?

The integrated 35‑page ADF and Epson ScanSmart software streamline multi‑page scans and conversion into editable files. A 2.7" color touchscreen and Epson Smart Panel app make setup and mobile printing straightforward, while Ethernet and wireless connections support networked offices.

• 35‑page ADF for batch scanning and copying
• 2.7" color touchscreen for quick navigation and settings changes
• Mobile printing via Epson Smart Panel, Wi‑Fi Direct, and standard Wi‑Fi

What about reliability, security and supplies?

Because the WF‑3823 uses PrecisionCore Heat‑Free Technology, it avoids heat‑based fusing and is designed for consistent operation with reduced warm‑up time. The printer supports secure wireless communications and data‑erase options; it also requires genuine Epson cartridges to maintain performance and warranty coverage.

• Heat‑free PrecisionCore for lower warm‑up time and consistent output
• Security features such as secure wireless and Secure Data Erase
• Uses Epson Genuine Cartridges only for optimal function and warranty

Who is this for: The WF‑3823 is a practical choice for small businesses, home offices and workgroups that need a reliable, high‑throughput multifunction printer without the footprint of larger office devices. If you require fast black and color printing, routine duplex jobs, dependable scanning of multi‑page documents, and simple mobile connectivity, this model offers a balanced combination of speed, quality and everyday convenience.
