Eureka PowerSpeed Upright Vacuum, Purple — 12.6-inch Wide Path, Lightweight 4.1L Dust Cup

The Eureka NEU182B PowerSpeed is a lightweight, bagless upright vacuum designed to clean carpets, hard floors and above-floor surfaces quickly using a wide nozzle, XL dust cup and on-board tools.

Built for everyday home cleaning, the Eureka PowerSpeed combines a powerful motor and rotating brush roll with a 12.6-inch wide cleaning path, an extra-large 4.1L dust cup and a set of handy attachments. It’s a budget-friendly upright that aims to make whole-home maintenance faster and less fussy, with five height settings for different floor types and a washable filter to reduce replacement costs.

How does the PowerSpeed handle different floor types?

The adjustable height and brush roll let the vacuum shift between carpets, area rugs and hard floors without swapping machines. Smooth rolling wheels protect hardwood while the wide nozzle trims cleaning time on open surfaces.

• Five height positions for low- to high-pile carpets and bare floors
• 12.6" wide nozzle covers more ground per pass
• Brush roll action lifts embedded dirt from rugs and carpets
• Soft wheels reduce scuffs on hardwood

What accessories come with the NEU182B and how are they used?

This model stores its tools on board so you can switch to above-floor cleaning without hunting for attachments. The hose and quick-release handle let you reach curtains, ceiling corners and car interiors; included crevice, dusting and upholstery tools tackle tight spots and soft surfaces.

• Stretch hose plus quick-release handle for overhead and above-floor work
• 7-inch crevice tool for baseboards and tight gaps
• Dusting brush for lampshades, shelves and vents
• Upholstery tool for furniture, car seats and fabric surfaces

How convenient is maintenance and everyday use?

The Eureka PowerSpeed is designed for simple upkeep: its extra-large dirt cup reduces how often you empty it and the washable filter cuts down on replacement parts. At roughly 10 lbs, the upright is easy to push, store and carry between rooms or up stairs.

• 4.1L (extra-large) dust cup lowers emptying frequency
• Washable filter reduces ongoing filter purchases
• Lightweight (about 10 lbs) for easy transport and maneuvering
• On-board tool storage keeps accessories accessible

Can it handle pet hair and car interiors effectively?

With the rotating brush roll and dedicated upholstery tool, this vacuum manages pet hair on sofas and area rugs, and the long crevice tool plus hose make cleaning a vehicle interior practical. While not a specialized pet model, its combination of attachments and suction addresses common shedding and crumbs.

• Brush roll lifts pet fur from carpets and rugs
• Upholstery tool helps remove hair from sofas and car seats
• Crevice tool reaches between seats, vents and tight seams
• On-board tools reduce time switching to other devices

Who is this for? The Eureka NEU182B PowerSpeed suits households looking for a no-frills, effective upright vacuum that won’t weigh you down. It’s a practical choice for apartments, families with mixed flooring, and car owners who want a single machine for floors and above-floor tasks. If you need a budget-conscious cleaner with an extra-large dust cup, washable filter and a broad cleaning path, the PowerSpeed delivers balanced performance without specialty price tags.
