Evapolar evaCHILL Portable Evaporative Cooler — Grey, USB-Powered Personal AC, 4 Speeds & Humidifier

Evapolar evaCHILL is a compact, USB-powered evaporative cooler that delivers a focused cool breeze, humidification, and light dust filtration for personal spaces like desks, cars, and tents.

Designed for single-person comfort, the evaCHILL uses evaporative cooling to lower perceived temperature in a small radius around the user while adding moisture to dry air and capturing larger particulates. It’s lightweight, battery- or USB-powered, and offers straightforward operation with four fan speeds and a single control button. Because it cools people rather than entire rooms, it’s an energy-conscious solution for hot, dry conditions and on-the-go use.

How quickly will I feel cooler with the evaCHILL?

The evaCHILL produces a directional cool airflow you’ll notice within minutes. Under typical conditions it creates a pleasant cooling effect within about 3–5 feet of the unit, making it ideal for sitting at a desk or inside a small vehicle.

• Evaporative cooling activates immediately when water and power are supplied.
• Best performance in lower-humidity environments (relative humidity under ~70%).
• Four fan speed options let you adjust airflow intensity to taste.

What power sources work with this portable AC unit?

evaCHILL runs on 5V USB power and draws roughly 10 watts, so it’s simple to use with common USB adapters, power banks, laptops, or car chargers. Its low power demand makes it practical for travel and reduces energy consumption compared with full-size air conditioners.

• Compatible with USB power banks that provide at least 2A at 5V.
• Plugs into laptops, USB wall adapters, and car USB outlets.
• Low 10W consumption allows extended use from portable power sources.

Is evaCHILL safe and easy to maintain?

The cooling cartridge is made from durable basalt-fiber material that captures larger dust particles and is safe for breathing. Routine care includes refilling the water reservoir and replacing the cartridge as needed; small amounts of natural basalt dust may appear but do not pose a safety risk.

• Basalt-based cartridge provides filtration and evaporative surface.
• Replaceable cartridge simplifies maintenance and hygiene.
• Lightweight, quiet operation suited for offices, bedrooms, and vehicles.

Can evaCHILL replace a traditional air conditioner?

evaCHILL is engineered to cool a person, not to lower the temperature of a whole room. Use it as a personal cooling device or alongside a central AC to reduce energy use and combat dryness. It’s particularly effective in dry climates where evaporative cooling performs best.

• Not intended to cool large rooms; ideal for individual use zones.
• Works well as a supplement to existing air conditioning systems.
• Offers added humidity to prevent overly dry indoor air.

Who is this for: The evaCHILL is suited for anyone who needs targeted, energy-efficient cooling while working, commuting, or camping—especially people in dry—or moderately humid—environments who want a portable, low-noise device that humidifies and filters larger dust particles. It’s a practical pick for remote workers, drivers, outdoor enthusiasts, and commuters seeking a small, easy-to-power cooler that focuses on personal comfort rather than whole-room temperature control.
