EXPO Purple Dry Erase Markers 12-Count — Low-Odor, Chisel Tip for Clear, Quick-Dry Writing

EXPO 80008 purple dry erase markers are a 12-count pack of low-odor, quick-drying chisel-tip markers designed for clear, vivid whiteboard writing and easy erasing.

This set of EXPO markers combines bright, consistent purple ink with a versatile chisel tip and a low-odor formula, making it suitable for classrooms, offices, and home whiteboards. The markers are non-toxic, made in the USA, and engineered for quick drying and smear resistance so notes stay legible from a distance. Whether you need bold headings, fine underlines, or color-coded planning, this pack delivers a reliable purple that erases cleanly with a dry cloth or eraser.

How does the chisel tip adapt to different writing needs?

The chisel tip provides two line widths in one marker: a broad edge for filling space and a narrow edge for detailed text or underlining. That flexibility reduces the need to switch between tools and helps create cleaner, more readable boards.

• Broad edge for headings and shading
• Narrow edge for fine writing and precise lines
• Consistent ink flow across both widths

Will these markers erase cleanly from whiteboards and glass?

EXPO's ink formulation is designed to wipe away easily with a dry cloth or standard dry-erase eraser, leaving minimal residue when used on non-porous surfaces like whiteboards and glass. Regular cleaning of the board surface prevents ghosting and maintains optimal erasure performance.

• Dries quickly to reduce smearing
• Erases with a dry eraser or cloth
• Works best on non-porous whiteboards and glass

Are these markers comfortable and safe for everyday use?

The markers feature a lightweight barrel designed for extended handling during lessons, meetings, or planning sessions. The low-odor, non-toxic ink minimizes strong smells, making them more comfortable for indoor environments where scent sensitivity matters.

• Low-odor formula suitable for classrooms and offices
• Non-toxic ink meets common safety expectations
• Lightweight design for easier grip and longer use

How do these compare for visibility and long-distance readability?

The vivid purple hue is formulated to remain bright and consistent, helping text stand out across larger rooms and on shared boards. Quick-drying properties and smear resistance preserve clarity so your message remains readable from the back of a classroom or meeting space.

• High-contrast purple ink for visibility
• Consistent color from marker to marker in the pack
• Quick-dry to prevent accidental smearing

Who is this for: Educators, team leads, students, and home organizers who need dependable purple dry-erase markers with flexible chisel tips and a low-odor profile. If you use whiteboards or glass surfaces regularly and want markers that erase cleanly while offering bright, consistent color, this 12-pack from EXPO is built for repeated classroom, office, or household use.
