FEED GARDEN Heavy Duty Shepherds Hook 76" Double-Arm Adjustable Pole — Alloy Steel, 5-Prong Base, 7.71 kg Capacity

FEED GARDEN's Heavy Duty Shepherds Hook is a three-height adjustable, double-arm garden pole built from alloy steel with a five-prong ground base to hold bird feeders, hanging planters, lanterns, and decorations up to 17 lb per hook.

This shepherds hook combines a reinforced double-arm design with a rust-resistant polished finish to stand up to outdoor use season after season. It assembles quickly without tools and lets you choose from three heights — 44", 60", or 76" — so you can position feeders or baskets at the ideal level for birds, visitors, or porch decor. The wide five-prong base increases stability compared with typical two- or three-prong stakes, helping keep the pole upright in windy conditions while minimizing ground wobble.

How do I set up the pole and change its height?

Assembly is a simple screw-together process that requires no additional tools. The pole arrives as three extension pieces that thread together; once at the desired height you push the five-prong base into the soil until the support feels secure.

• Twist the 3 extension segments together clockwise until snug.
• Select 44", 60", or 76" configuration by using one, two, or all three segments.
• Push the 5-prong base fully into the ground for best stability; use damp soil or loosen compacted ground first.

What items can this double-arm hook hold safely?

The double-arm layout lets you suspend multiple items simultaneously — a feeder on one arm and a planter or lantern on the other — while the center pole reduces the chance of entanglement. Each hook is rated to support up to 17 lb, making it suitable for medium-size feeders, potted baskets, and most outdoor ornaments.

• Bird feeders and squirrel-resistant feeders under 17 lb per hook.
• Hanging planters and baskets with soil and plants.
• Solar lanterns, wind chimes, string-light hangers, and seasonal decor.

Will this stand up to weather and wind?

FEED GARDEN uses alloy steel with a polished rust-resistant finish for increased weather tolerance. The five-prong base provides broader anchoring than standard stakes to reduce tipping in gusts; however, extremely soft or waterlogged ground can affect stability, so placement matters.

• Alloy steel construction resists bending and corrosion in typical outdoor conditions.
• 5-prong ground anchor spreads load and reduces wobble in wind.
• Recommended: place in firm, well-drained soil and avoid loose, saturated ground.

How do I care for the hook to extend its life?

Minimal maintenance keeps the pole performing well: periodically tighten threaded joints, wipe away bird droppings, and inspect the base for soil buildup. If you live in a coastal or high-humidity area, occasional cleaning and drying will help preserve the finish.

• Hand-tighten connections seasonally to prevent loosening.
• Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove residues.
• Remove and store indoors during prolonged storms or heavy snow for extra protection.
