FEGO Garage Door Screen Magnetic Retractable 16x7 ft — 40 Magnets & Weighted Bottom

FEGO Garage Door Screen is a magnetic, retractable fiberglass mesh panel sized for 16x7 ft openings that creates a breathable barrier for garages, patios, and small shops while allowing easy hands-free passage.

This full-frame garage screen converts an open doorway into a ventilated, pet-friendly space without blocking light or airflow. Built from claw-resistant fiberglass mesh and outfitted with a heavy weighted bottom and 40 magnets along the center seam, the screen closes automatically after people or pets pass through. The kit includes a hook-and-loop perimeter for quick DIY mounting, extra push pins for security, and storage straps for seasonal retraction.

How does this screen make my garage more usable?

The FEGO screen turns an exposed garage opening into a comfortable, bug-reduced area that still breathes. It maintains visibility and daylight while keeping out small animals and flying insects, so the space works better as a workshop, gym, or lounging area.

• Allows fresh air and natural light while acting as a barrier to pests
• Fits openings up to 16 ft x 7 ft with extra mesh for frame overlap
• Durable fiberglass mesh stands up to frequent use and pet claws
• Can create a temporary living or working area without permanent construction

How reliable is the magnetic closure in windy or high-traffic situations?

The central seam uses 40 strategically placed magnets that align on contact to snap shut immediately. A heavy-duty weighted bottom keeps the mesh taut and helps the magnets reconnect even when there's a breeze or people move quickly through the doorway.

• 40 magnets along the center seam for fast resealing
• Weighted bottom reduces wind gaps and prevents flapping
• Close snaps shut automatically after each passage
• Extra push pins available for stronger attachment in exposed locations

Is the material durable enough for pets and frequent use?

FEGO uses premium fiberglass mesh rather than thin polyester, improving resistance to claws, abrasion, and UV exposure. The stronger weave keeps visibility high and airflow unrestricted while lasting longer under repeated openings and closings.

• Claw-resistant fiberglass mesh for extended lifespan
• Heat-resistant and less prone to stretch or sag over time
• Transparent enough to keep sightlines and daylight
• Simple maintenance—wipe clean and fold for storage

How easy is installation and seasonal storage?

Installation is designed for one person and takes minutes with the included hook-and-loop frame strip plus push pins for extra hold. When you don’t need the screen, the kit includes straps to roll and secure the mesh compactly against the frame for off-season storage.

• Full-frame hook-and-loop system for fast DIY mounting
• Includes extra push pins to reinforce high-wind areas
• Eight storage straps let you fold and secure the mesh neatly
• Tool-free removal and re-installation for seasonal use

Who is this for: FEGO’s 16x7 ft garage screen is aimed at homeowners and renters who want a low-effort way to keep insects and small animals out while enjoying ventilation—ideal for two-car garages, patio doorways, hobby workshops, and small retail or studio entries. It suits households with children and pets, DIYers who prefer quick installation, and anyone who needs a temporary, breathable barrier that withstands daily use.
