FELIWAY Optimum cat calming pheromone diffuser kit — 4-week refill, reduces stress and intercat tension (covers up to 65 m²)

FELIWAY Optimum is a plug‑in pheromone diffuser kit designed to help reduce common signs of feline stress—like urine spraying, scratching, hiding, and intercat tension—by releasing a patented calming signal continuously for up to four weeks per refill.

Everyday changes in routine, visitors, household noise, or sharing space with other pets can make cats anxious and trigger stress behaviors. FELIWAY Optimum delivers a laboratory‑developed pheromone blend that mimics natural feline comfort signals, creating a calmer scent environment across rooms up to 700 square feet. The kit is simple to install and intended for continuous use to help maintain a steady calming effect in the home.

How quickly will FELIWAY Optimum help reduce my cat’s stress behaviors?

Some cats show improvement within days, while others need several weeks of continuous diffusion depending on their individual sensitivity and the complexity of triggers. Consistent use as directed gives the best chance of lowering visible stress signs over time.

• Start by plugging in the diffuser in an open outlet with vents upward and at least 4 feet clearance.
• One refill provides continuous diffusion for up to 4 weeks; replace promptly for uninterrupted effect.
• Expect variable timelines: lighter issues may improve sooner than long‑established behaviors.

Will this work in a multi‑cat household and reduce conflict?

FELIWAY Optimum is formulated to support harmony where more than one cat lives together by lowering tension cues that drive conflict. Many cat owners report measurable reductions in antagonistic behaviors when the diffuser is used consistently across shared living areas.

• Covers spaces up to 700 sq ft—suitable for living rooms and larger open areas.
• Reported decreases in intercat tension and displays of aggression when used continuously.
• Place diffusers in common zones where cats meet and rest to maximize effect.

Is FELIWAY Optimum safe for kittens, other pets, and people?

The formula is non‑sedating and intended for use around cats, kittens, and household members when used according to the label. It is a behavioral support product rather than a medication, and it does not require direct contact with the cat to work.

• Non‑sedative pheromone technology—scent‑based, not chemical tranquilizers.
• Safe for use around most pets and people when following the package directions.
• Keep the diffuser upright and out of reach to avoid spillage and ensure proper diffusion.

How do I use the diffuser and how long does one refill last?

Using FELIWAY Optimum is straightforward: insert the refill bottle into the diffuser unit and plug into an open wall outlet. Each refill provides about four weeks of continuous support; replace with a fresh refill to maintain an uninterrupted calming atmosphere.

• Plug diffuser into an outlet with vents pointing up and allow at least 4 feet of clearance.
• One refill lasts up to 4 weeks—replace promptly for ongoing coverage.
• Use one diffuser per 700 sq ft; multiple diffusers may be needed for larger or partitioned homes.

Who this is for: FELIWAY Optimum is aimed at cat owners seeking a non‑invasive way to reduce stress‑related behaviors such as urine spraying, excessive scratching, hiding, or intercat tension. It’s a practical option for single‑cat homes experiencing sudden change, multi‑cat households managing relationships, and caretakers who prefer a continuous, plug‑in support product that works without medication. For best results combine FELIWAY with environmental enrichment, routine adjustments, and veterinary guidance if behavior persists.
