Filtrete 24x24x1 MERV 13 Air Filter — 2-Pack MPR 1900 Pleated 1-inch Filters, High Airflow

Filtrete 24x24x1 MERV 13 (MPR 1900) 2-pack are pleated HVAC filters designed to capture microscopic and larger particles while maintaining higher airflow than other residential 1" MERV 13 filters.

These Filtrete filters by 3M combine a high MPR 1900 rating with a certified MERV 13 efficiency to help reduce airborne particles such as pollen, pet dander, smoke, and many microparticles down to 0.3–1.0 microns. Packaged as two 1-inch pleated filters, they’re intended for standard home furnaces, air conditioners, and HVAC return grilles and are recommended for replacement every 90 days, or sooner in higher-pollution or pet-heavy households.

How will this filter affect airflow and my HVAC’s performance?

Filtrete engineered these 1-inch MERV 13 filters to deliver better airflow than typical residential MERV 13 competitors, helping your HVAC system move air efficiently while still trapping fine particles. Better airflow can reduce strain on your system compared with denser filters that restrict circulation.

• High airflow design proven against other retail 1" MERV 13 filters.
• Pleated media balances particle capture with reduced air resistance.
• Works with standard home HVAC fans without requiring system changes.

What kinds of particles does this Filtrete filter remove?

This filter targets a range of contaminants: large particles like lint and pollen, common household allergens such as pet dander, and many microparticles including smoke and bacteria-size particulates. While not a medical device, it helps lower airborne dust and many small particles that pass through a typical home system.

• Captures pollen, mold spores, and household dust.
• Reduces pet dander and lint from circulating air.
• Collects microparticles in the 0.3–1.0 micron range with a high capture rate.

How often should I replace the filter and can I get reminders?

For most homes, Filtrete recommends replacing this 1-inch pleated filter every 90 days to maintain airflow and filtration performance. If you have pets, live near construction, or experience higher indoor pollutants, check and replace more often. You can set reminders by scanning the filter barcode in the Filtrete Smart App to choose 30-, 60- or 90-day replacement notifications.

• Standard replacement interval: 90 days for typical residential use.
• Adjust frequency for pets, allergies, or high pollution exposure.
• Use Filtrete Smart App for barcode scanning and automatic reminders.

Is this filter safe for allergy or asthma sufferers?

The Filtrete MPR 1900 MERV 13 filter is certified asthma and allergy-friendly and was developed to reduce many common household allergens that can aggravate symptoms. It does not treat or prevent medical conditions, but it can lower airborne allergen loads when used as part of broader home management strategies.

• Certified asthma and allergy-friendly by an independent program.
• Helps reduce airborne pollen, pet dander, and dust mite debris.
• Best used in combination with cleaning and humidity control measures.

Who is this for: Homeowners and renters who want a balance of strong particle capture and good airflow in a standard 1-inch furnace or AC filter. Ideal for people with pets, seasonal allergies, or those wanting a higher-performing residential MERV 13 option that integrates with app-based replacement reminders. Not intended for industrial use or medical isolation; designed for residential HVAC systems.
