Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn My Smart Purse interactive toy purse — pink, 50+ songs & 3 Smart Stages for 6–36 months

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn My Smart Purse is an interactive role-play toy purse that teaches counting, opposites, greetings and simple Spanish with 50+ songs, sounds and three Smart Stages.

This compact pretend-play set blends fashion and learning by giving babies and toddlers a light-up purse and five accessories that spark exploration, language skills and fine motor practice. The purse responds when kids press the lit heart, slide the zipper or open the handle, offering age-adjustable audio and playful feedback that grows with your child.

How does this purse teach numbers and words?

The toy uses three Smart Stages to change the depth of content: simple sounds for young infants, basic words and counting for toddlers, and expanded phrases and Spanish words for older babies. As children interact with the purse and accessories, the toy plays songs and conversational phrases that reinforce vocabulary and early math concepts.

• 3 learning levels that switch content complexity
• Counting songs and word repetition to build recognition
• Spanish words introduced alongside English for bilingual exposure
• Over 50 songs, sounds and phrases to maintain interest

What hands-on activities are included and how do they help?

The set includes five role-play accessories—rattle phone, compact mirror, credit card, clacker keys and bead bracelet—each designed to be small-hand friendly. Manipulating zippers, pressing the heart button and handling accessories strengthens fine motor control and encourages independent exploration.

• Sliding zipper and opening handle for coordination practice
• Pressable light-up heart that links action to sound
• Accessory shapes that promote grasping and object handling
• Role-play items that build social and imaginative skills

Is this durable and safe for babies aged 6–36 months?

The purse and accessories are made for everyday play by babies and toddlers and sized to reduce choking risk when used as intended. Fisher-Price designs typically follow toy-safety guidelines; still inspect pieces regularly and supervise young children, especially under 12 months.

• Compact, rounded design for safe handling
• Accessories sized for small hands and play scenarios
• Motorized elements enclosed to prevent small-part exposure
• Recommended age range printed on packaging for guidance

How does the purse adapt as my child grows?

Switching Smart Stages lets you tailor the learning experience to your child’s development. Start with simple cause-and-effect sounds for early months, then progress to counting and opposites, and finally introduce longer phrases and basic Spanish vocabulary for toddlers nearing preschool readiness.

• Level 1: Simple songs and immediate responses for infants
• Level 2: Words and counting to expand vocabulary
• Level 3: Longer phrases and Spanish terms for advanced exposure
• Keeps play fresh with 50+ audio variations
