Flex Seal Liquid liquid rubber sealant — Clear 473 ml, waterproof flexible UV-resistant coating

Flex Seal Liquid is a brushable, pourable liquid rubber sealant that creates a flexible, waterproof, UV-resistant coating for roof repairs, RVs, basements and marine use.

Flex Seal Liquid comes in a 16 oz can of clear liquid rubber designed to be applied by brush, roller, dip or pour. It dries to form a seamless, elastic membrane that helps block water, air and moisture while resisting UV degradation and many chemicals. The product works on many common substrates — wood, metal, masonry, EPDM and more — and is formulated to reduce rust and corrosion on coated surfaces.

How does Flex Seal Liquid stop leaks and seal surfaces?

The liquid fills gaps, covers fasteners and bonds to substrate surfaces to form a continuous rubberized layer that blocks water and air infiltration. Its flexible cured film moves with the underlying material so small cracks and expansion joints remain sealed over time.

• Forms an elastic, monolithic membrane that resists water penetration
• Brush, roll, pour or dip application for tight coverage and edge sealing
• Dries clear to preserve surface appearance while protecting it
• Helps prevent rust and corrosion on metal surfaces

What surfaces and projects is it suitable for?

Flex Seal Liquid bonds to a wide range of materials including roofing substrates, RV and trailer paneling, basement masonry, boat trim and EPDM roofing membranes. It’s useful for patching holes, sealing seams, coating flashing and adding a protective barrier to exposed metal or wood.

• Roof repair: around vents, flashing and small punctures
• Marine and RV: seals seams, fasteners and trim on campers and boats
• Basements and masonry: waterproofs foundation cracks and block walls
• Metal and equipment: coats to reduce corrosion and chemical exposure

How do I apply Flex Seal Liquid for best results?

Surface preparation and application technique determine performance. Clean and dry the area, remove loose paint, rust or debris, and use a brush or roller for even coverage; for small jobs pouring and spreading with a brush works too. Allow proper drying between coats and follow safety guidance for ventilation when working indoors.

• Prep: clean, degrease and remove loose material before coating
• Application: brush, roll, dip or pour to build a continuous film
• Coats: apply multiple thin coats for best flexibility and curing
• Drying: allow adequate cure time and ventilation per instructions

Will Flex Seal Liquid withstand sun, moisture and chemicals?

This formula includes UV resistance to slow breakdown from sunlight and is engineered to resist water and many common chemicals. While it improves durability and corrosion resistance, extreme chemical exposure or abrasion will still wear coatings over time, so inspect and reapply as needed for long-term protection.

• UV-resistant formula to reduce sun-related degradation
• Waterproof and breathable to help manage trapped moisture
• Chemical-resistant qualities for many household and outdoor exposures
• Helps prevent rust formation when applied to metal substrates

Who is this for? Homeowners, DIYers, contractors and recreational vehicle or boat owners who need a versatile, easy-to-apply rubberized coating will find Flex Seal Liquid useful. It’s aimed at users who want a clear, flexible waterproofing solution for small to medium repairs, preventative coating work and projects where a brushable or pourable liquid makes application faster and more precise. For larger structural repairs or where certified roofing membranes are required, pair this product with professional assessment and installation practices.
