Whether you're tackling a damp basement, reducing humidity in bedrooms, or preventing musty odors in bathrooms and laundry rooms, this FreAire model balances power and portability. It combines an efficient compressor, a sensitive humidity sensor with a three-color indicator, and user-friendly features like a timer, washable filter, and an included 6.56-foot drain hose for uninterrupted operation.

How quickly will it dry a large room?

This dehumidifier can remove up to 34 pints (12 liters) of moisture per day under high humidity and temperature conditions, making it suitable for open-plan living areas and finished basements. Actual performance depends on room size, temperature, and starting humidity levels.

• Covers up to 2,500 sq.ft in typical household environments
• Rated capacity up to 34 pints per day (95°F, 90% RH test condition)
• Two fan speeds to adapt drying rate and noise
• Continuous drain option via included 6.56 ft hose for nonstop operation

Is it quiet enough for bedrooms and home offices?

Yes — the unit operates as low as about 40 dB, similar to a quiet conversation or a library background level. Its compact size and low sound profile make it appropriate for bedrooms, nurseries, and workspaces when placed a modest distance away.

• Lowest noise around 40 dB for nighttime use
• Compact footprint (16 x 11 x 7 in) fits near furniture without dominating the room
• Built-in handle and 360° wheels allow quick repositioning to reduce disturbance

How easy is maintenance and water removal?

Maintenance is straightforward: the removable filter washes clean, and the clear full-tank indicator tells you when to empty the 0.66-gallon reservoir. If you prefer not to empty the tank repeatedly, attach the supplied 6.56-foot drain hose for continuous drainage to a floor drain or sink.

• 0.66 gal removable water tank with visible full indicator
• Included 6.56 ft drain hose for gravity-fed continuous drain
• Washable filter that slides out for easy cleaning
• Auto defrost protects operation in cooler spaces
